Sometimes the odd BCE from SO appears on the H14 does that mean the H14 has an allocation at SO?

Does anyone know what happened with the 258 Contract?
According to the 2024-2025 Tender Programme, the 258 was in Tranche No. 901 due to be announced in December 2023 but I cant find any record of it on here being announced despite everything in this programme now being announced. It also wasnt eligible for a 2 year extension. Has it simply not been awarded yet or is there another reason? Im not familiar with RATP's operating area or operations itself, so maybe there was some alteration that I am missing.

I thought TfL had almost caught up as I believe there was a massive backlog as a result of covid. I guess not.

Oh yes, i didn't realise that one was also outstanding. I thought TfL had almost caught up as I believe there was a massive backlog as a result of covid. I guess not. There is still a massive backlog of tenders (around 50-60 routes overdue I believe), if they were roughly on time then they would be about halfway through the 2025/26 tendering programme now.

I think it’s dependent on what’s happening with the 18/N18 as that still has a few TBCs to be determined. I believe it may have been retained but it’s depending on those VHs being released from 18 before they can officially announce the tender result.

I think it’s dependent on what’s happening with the 18/N18 as that still has a few TBCs to be determined. I believe it may have been retained but it’s depending on those VHs being released from 18 before they can officially announce the tender result. I still think the 414 might play a part aswell releasing its ADHs for a 3 year term.

I believe it may have been retained but it’s depending on those VHs being released from 18 before they can officially announce the tender result. If the 258 were to be retained with existing hybrids (and on a contract length requiring vehicles of a similar age to those on the 18) - could they not be sourced from elsewhere if needed? For example, the E3 could use a full allocation of 62reg ADHs for the new contract (using the ex-266/E1 examples), then the VHs currently at V moving to the 258? Or alternatively, could even swap with the 452, which is still on a diesel contract? Will be interesting to see what happens with the 18 as it seems the PVR has recently gone up from 35 to 39. So even if it remains a hybrid contract, 4 more G3s will need to be found. But equally I wouldn't be surprised if the 18 just gets a full allocation of new electrics. Also there's still the question of whether the 258 (or 18) would remain at RP for a new contract, and if not then how space would be freed up.
