The blind on that DE does have 9 - Hammersmith on it but I doubt it was used in service, driver was probably just playing with the blinds.

Check your info out first before posting!! I will post when they actually arrive, hopefully the first is expected in about 10 days subject to Optare pulling their fingers out. We need the first one to do proper type training instead of the demo vehicle being used at the moment, which is a different spec. |

Not directly relevant to the late delivery of the Tempos, but yesterday Optare announced an order for Manchester which includes 12m Versas, previously longest was 11.1m (of which only Quality Line has some on a TfL service) As versas seem to come in 9.7m, 10.4m and 11.1m I could understand another 0.7m module taking it upto 11.8m What I'm thinking is if the versa is a lot cheaper than the aluminium tempo, would many companies go for it where TfL requires a 65-70 seat bus (but where a double decker can't be used or routes which carriy many who wont (or cant) go upstairs) www.optare.com/pr_21_03_11.htmany thoughts ? |

The 227 could fall into that category with Shortlands rail bridge though Stagecoach may prefer Tempos.
LU may have considered them for the H37 as they have them for the 283, 371.

is the part of the Enviro range the SPD. Metrobus may be after the route aswell I suppose so we will have to wait and see.

Are dual door Enviro 300s available, if so we could see some Scania K230UB/Enviro 300s, as i know the Scania K230UB chassis allows for dual door buses as i think Hong Kong have some but they are on Wright bodies.
