Looks like some of the ex H98 ADEs have entered service on 298 due to the massive load of TMPs tracking on lvf

What buses are due to be allocated for the 298? Currently a mix of everything available it seems.... I’d assume it’s the ADEs that they recently acquired and the first buses which worked the 298 are still allocated to the school routes, unfortunate because the TE was absolutely exceptional and fit on the 298 perfectly but perhaps some of those ADEs are just as good. Theres also an ex-GAL Streetlite which is a weird sight

Theres also an ex-GAL Streetlite which is a weird sight The ADE's recently acquired are indeed for the 298 as they used a mix of buses usually allocated to school work to cover during the holidays. Streetlite 46 is a 383 vehicle, think it was acquired during just before or during Covid

I’ve noticed that the remaining K8SR fleet numbers end with “e” now. Usually this is given to buses with an LED display, are they getting a retrofit?

The 298 is only suppose to have 1 or 2 DDs (not sure which one) but Sullivans put out more DDs because of the SLs unreliability I even wonder whether full double-deck allocation will only be mandatory from the original date of next February, with TfL pragmatic in the meantime as Uno only took over the route early due to Sullivan suddenly pulling out of TfL operations? It may take a few months to refurbish the ex-RATP ADEs anyway.
