The 607 is great! Until you get to Southall... just about every time I've used it, the afforementioned traffic then ruins the "express"ness of the service to a crawl.

Southall traffic is a disaster, even during a sunday evening. Dunno how they "planned" Southall. Road system is a disaster and there are no decent links, tube-wise, with many, I think, relying on routes such as the 607 to get to Ealing for the tube. Still think that trunk routes, especially the 207 group, need these: Metroline TEL2013 (SN63 HYS) - Route 207 by RysX-Kizuki, on Flickr If the NBfL is 11.3m, surely the extra 0.7m wouldn't be a problem.

If the NBfL is 11.3m, surely the extra 0.7m wouldn't be a problem. Southall wasn't planned. It has two straight main roads, that are too narrow. N/S King Street, E/W Uxbridge Road*/Broadway. Tube - well the whole AREA isn't linked. Well, what about the 105 to Greenford Stn, 120* (grrr) to Northolt/Hounslow etc? 12m on Uxbridge Rd* - it coped with bendies, thus 12m is no problem anyway! The extra 0.7m is actually the difference between stuck for over 20mins and normal service! Acton Green isn't tight for a 10m, yet NBfL failed test on the 94 there due to a traffic island (which IS pointless imo), so 70cm does make a difference (that's ALMOST another metre in extra length, which definitely make a difference!). Then again, Citaros are 12m... 25, a candidate for E50H/E50D? And, what is the original photo of that fake ob, @kizuki ?

120* (grrr) to Northolt/Hounslow Nothing wrong with the 120, much more interesting route than the 111, better buses too.

Agree with 120 (grr) having better buses, disagree very very (x ∞ ) strongly about the other bit. (that is my opinion) vjaska_ - Nothing wrong with the 111. Definitely agree. SPs - not so much, but the 111 is a route, buses don't always define a route! 111 imo is better than 120...

I use the 65 quite a bit and its generally ok, do FW put all their rude drivers and poorly maintained buses on one route? Not sure about the drivers but the Euro 4 FW SP's have the worst engine vibration ever (SP 26-28/52-67/88-104) I agree that they have really bad engines, but one time, i was late for school, and i jumped on a 65 to save me time, and the driver shouted at me saying, "No, no, You kind no come on", so i got off and started to talk to him, then he shut his doors and drove off!, Still, its not as bad as when i went on the 371, and a driver completely failed to stop at Richmond Road, a penultimate change for the 65, and i said to him "Why didnt you stop, im gonna report you for that". He replied to me saying that he was going to find me and kill me! That happened last year, and i havent seen that driver since!

Apologies for veering slightly off topic but I can't resist a detective challenge so I'm going to say that the real bus is a new 12m Enviro 500 for HK Citybus and that the original photo might have been taken by a Mr P Chan who shot the bus on route 19 to Happy Valley on HK Island. A completely wild guess is that the photo was taken near Victoria Park near Tin Hau. The seat pattern, screen position and stanchion colours all point towards it being a Citybus vehicle. Am I right? I've been to HK lots of times so do recognise some backgrounds to photos!

H25 is my personally most hated route. Back in 2009 I had to use it but it had the horrible caetanos that would wail at high pitch when you pressed 'stop'. And then there were the people.. Butts Farm and Hanworth picks up many a single mother with screaming child and people getting on missing a shoe..

The interior does seem to definitely point towards a Citybus vehicle definitely, that's for sure! Yellow poles are the first give away.

Thanks, that looks like a very very very very similar pic to the one Kizuki used, actually, quite possibly the one! I'd hope Kizuki had permission to use it.

I don't like the 465, as those Versas for the route are quite ugly, especially at the rear
