In the near future is there any likelihood that routes converting to Electric will not see any Hybrid or Diesel buses "at all"?
As I have mentioned before only a few routes run 100% with EV continuously.

Look at the NP electric routes for example.
The 86 is very early days but this seems to a very reliable route for electrics.

Been suggested on Flickr several days prior the U11DD demo is (or was) with Golden Tours, having been sighted by the commenter (not the photographer) in Alperton.

Apparently there are two dates for the end of British Summer... Meteorological summer ends 31st August / Astronomical summer ends 22nd September. I'm being rather mischievous! I would imagine part of the rationale for this timing announcement is to focus minds to "Get this over the line".

Well, you're not wrong. There's a reason why seasons are often used in project milestones. Where transport is concerned I even add a little optimism bias to get end-of-Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec for the astronomical season that ended a week or so prior. Also, Wayback Machine's archives of the Londonist article regarding ietrams when? are useful for revealing the periodic changes they've made to it. Unless a Cloudflare Turnstile check gets in the way...

Before the first London-specification demonstrators of the next-generation electric buses have even hit the road, orders are in place! Stagecoach will receive 24 Enviro100EV and 17 Enviro400EV in early 2025 for TfL routes.

National Express have BYD double decks at Yardley Wood and Coventry, and are just introducing some at Perry Barr.
I was in Tamworth & North Birmingham today but did not feel compelled to wait too long for one at Perry Barr. The grey livery and interiors are quite dreary.
