A diversion, with a twist!
Resurfacing works on Lampton Road between A4/Great West Road and the mini-roundabout with Spring Grove Road, which is a short section. Routes 111 and 120 on diversion. Towards Hounslow it is a simple left onto the A4 then the next right onto Jersey Road which gets you to the other side. No problem. But towards Heston there is a banned right turn from the A4 there so instead of missing 3 stops out in Heston, the routes go all the way to Henly's Roundabout to turn around then come back to the same place on the other side and resume LOR by turning left onto Heston Road. This took 7 minutes when I went on it earlier on the 120!
Until 06:00 Friday 19 April 2013

Due to an articulated lorry carrying some heavy goods. It has turned into Bethnal Green Station/Wilmot Street, Westbound and is completely blocking the road.
This is causing the 8 & 388 to take an emergency diversion.
Route 8: Right Cambridge Heath Road, Left Hackney Road, Left Shoreditch High Street then normal line of route.
Route 388: Right Hackney Road, Left Shoreditch High Street then normal line of route.
Westbound buses only until further notice.

WAHEY!!! Due to a police accident, all the London Road, Croydon routes (60, 64, 109, 198, 250, 289) are diverted via Thornton Heath Station, Thornton Heath High Street and Whitehorse Road. I've just spotted a 109 and a 289 at the High Street.

Apparently, the reason for the diversion round Thornton Heath was that a person got stabbed on the route 60 (DLA223) near West Croydon.

The 492 diversion is diabolical. Not surprised the route is shambolic. They should have put shuttle buses out between Dartford and Crayford.
