Not sure i understand what the problem is uote author=rgd976 board=general2 thread=7476 post=201786 time=1367784175]The 492 diversion is diabolical. Not surprised the route is shambolic. They should have put shuttle buses out between Dartford and Crayford.
Could have used Darts from the 126 as well for the shuttle.

Yep already know that part of the story... Some are going to Bow Church while the rest are turning at Old Ford as you stated. The reason being is the A12 Northbound Slip road is being maintained at the moment so the 8s are having to go around via Bromley-by-Bow and back again. This also adds on 6mins-9mins off journey time. And also the 339's towards shadwell. However most of them run past bow church and down Fairfield road. But it's only till 5am Monday. And to continue where we started from. 8, N8, 339, back on diversion again from 1am tomorrow for 6 weeks.

Could have used Darts from the 126 as well for the shuttle. As Beaver said, what's the actual problem that a shuttle is needed? Anyway, shuttles are only used on planned works, e.g. Streatham works, or Silvertown works.
Plus where would the drivers come from at a garage like dt seriously people small garages don't have a few staff free to run a shuttle service for free as tfl would have to decide whether they want to pay when its temporary on the borders of london.

Route 155 and 345 are diverted via Brixton Station. I imagine the 88 is terminating at Stockwell.

My 259 took wrong turn towards Finsbury Park and had to go back down Blackstock Road!

Ooopss! ;D haha seems someone has mucked up then always have said all speed humps should be got rid of as if they damage buses what are they doing to cars. As long as the humps meet official guidelines on size, then should be able to drive over it at permitted road speed. Might be uncomfortable but shouldn't cause damage. If there is damage then vehicle isn't really fit for purpose (if this was a consumer item would have statutory right to refund or replacement). You have to wonder about maintenance quality if it falls apart on normal road features.

Some long-ass diversion on all Acre Lane/ Clapham Park Road, Brixton routes. Especially long-ass if you are on a 137 (which I am) or a 417.
