58 drivers are not consistent on their arrangement. Some are going to Markhouse Corner some onto Markhouse Avenue (South Grove). Today, had a driver terminate at the stop after Gloucester Road and terminate at Lea Bridge Road stop to go Not In Service three stops to turnaround at South Grove i.e. driver seemed to panic that he missed the initial curtailment point. I think it is better for all 58s to terminate at South Grove and stand at Gloucester Road. How is that even possible? At the Gloucester Road stop rather than the stand which is what has been happening and suspected it was a new instruction and I have now seen the update on the TfL site: WALTHAMSTOW BUS STATION: Until 23:59 Friday 20 December, route 58 terminates toward Walthamstow at bus stop K "Markhouse Avenue", on Markhouse Road, and departs at CU "Gloucester Road", on Church Road, during bus station works. A good update.

Drivers informed to not go on diversion until advised by control and to ignore signage. The workers just seem to be surveying the site and taking measurements with no proper closure in place yet Diversion now implemented and modified by control to include both directions. Only the Pollards Hill bound bus stops were hooded off earlier today, will be interesting to see where the 655 will start It's been reopened towards Colliers Wood, thus one way through working as per original plan

I believe today's 655 started at Glebe Court

PALMERSTON ROAD, IG9: ROUTE W14 is on diversion via Loughton Way, Valley Hill, Roding Road and Alderton Hill due to Thames Water works taking place. Buses towards Loughton will not serve stops from 'Buckhurst Hill Station' to 'The Crown' or 'Sainsbury's' in either direction.

Route P12 will be diverted (southbound only) via the western end of Rotherhithe New Road and Old Kent Road to Asylum Road instead of Ilderton Road. This is due to road incursions associated with the Overground rail bridge works at Old Kent Road. Stops missed: Sheppard Drive (RK), South Bermondsey Station (IM), Millwall Football Ground (IN), Manor Grove (s/b), Wagner Street (s/b), Old Kent Road/Ilderton Road (WA), Commercial Way (WB) Dates: 9/9/24-14/10/24 The P12 will repeat this diversion, in both directions this time, from 18th November to 20th December.

Diversion signs are in place on Mitcham Road temporarily diverting Tooting bound 44s and 77s up Church Road¹ from tomorrow, the buses effectively missing out Amen Corner and Tooting Station.
Presumably buses will turn around at the top of Church Road and stand somewhere (?) for the return journey. It also seems to conclude that the Mitre stand cannot be used for whatever reason which would have otherwise been perfect. All this is due to the planned resurfacing of Longley Road
¹ - where the G1 goes towards Streatham

Also the works are to last a week which is quite unusual for resurfacing that's typically done overnight on a couple of days
