Off the top of my head I'd say the 25, 36, 109, 111, 158, 255, 284 and 415. I agree with all of these above plus the 250, back to north now and All AR route bar the 123, 17, 48, 56, 67, 76, 91, 243, 279, 106, 141, 341, 425, 488, 327, 143 I will come back with more again later 250 ain't boring if you get on the right journey.

337 is the most boring route I have been on. It just goes on a straight line for 50 mins, through Sheen and Barnes.... Very dull

Surprised to see the 20 mentioned I found it a nice varied route and you can get a good turn of speed between Whipps cross roundabout to Debden. just my opinion. It could get tedious working for a garage being left on the same route day in day out. Surely its better to work for a bigger garage like Stockwell/Camberwell/Cricklewood/Hounslow etc and get to drive allsorts.

The 20 was better with DLAs, it is now boring with B9TLs would be more interesting if NP ran the 20 because the 257 fleet are blinded for the 20. They really need to move that route out of Rainham it's too far IMO!

I always used to find driving the 152 and 155 at night boring, though loved doing the N155 which was more lively.
I used to love travelling on the 468 when TC had it with the DB250s. Since 2006 it's only interesting with WVL244 or WDL1, the latter long since moved to SW.

I'd have thought the 25 was one of the less boring routes, it does actually go somewhere. Short routes like the W7 and 507 with endless rounders would top my list of boring routes.

Agreed, the 250 avoids the most boring part of the 109 that is the section between Norbury and Thornton Heath Pond. And since most people prefer to get on the 109 over the 250, it tends to be much faster. DLA382 (which is restricted) managed to get to get to 38 mph up Brixton Hill yesterday, after overtaking a packed 109 (DLA335) in spectacular fashion. Not boring I don't think! I'd have thought the 25 was one of the less boring routes, it does actually go somewhere. Short routes like the W7 and 507 with endless rounders would top my list of boring routes. The 25...passes through not very nice areas pretty much for the whole route, has buses which are dead slow, is caught in traffic a lot of the time, PACKED, goes in a straight line for the whole length... the list goes on. I'm just glad I've never been on the 25, ever. The W7 and 507 are unique in that they serve roads not served by other routes. The W7 has lovely hilly bits, while the 507 has the awesome Citaro Rigids. I like both these routes. I always used to find driving the 152 and 155 at night boring, though loved doing the N155 which was more lively.. +1 I can't name a single interesting thing about any of the routes that serve Kennington Station.

Oi! Leave the 133 out of this, it's probably the best route I've done. The bit from Liverpool Street to Borough is a bit twisty and trafficy, but the rest is pure racetrack! Moz

As has been discussed elsewhere, if you're on the 25, there's a specific reason you're not on the tube & for that reason you're bound to have a decent ride. It is reasonably varied and the N25 always makes for an interesting journey

Having not travelled the 25 does that not hinder your ability to make an accurate judgement. Possibly; East London isn't area that I go to regularly. However, I do know I'd rather travel on a 205, 425 or 86 any day over the 25. Having said that, the 86 is pretty dull towards the Stratford end.

Why does the length of the route make it interesting or not? That's a very odd way to decide (unless you're hopelessly nostalgic about long routes as some people seem to be) If I were a driver I'd rather do maybe two rounders on a route like the 25 than half a dozen rounders on a shorter route.
