On all my travels to south around the 415 route which has been a alot since the 415 started the most people ive seen on a bus is about 12 people On my 415 ride there were only up to three people on the top deck during the entire route! It could be single-decked, for a start... The 345 is rather looong and boring, and the 35 is also rather dull, except for the Clapham Common part.

As someone who actually lives on Tulse Hill the 415 route is not a waste of time whenever there are problems affecting the 2 or 432 it provides a chance of getting on a bus that is not rammed full the best solution would be to stagger the schedule so that there is a headway between 2 415 432 instead of all 3 arriving together then an 8 or 9 minute wait for the next convoy. When the water main burst in Norwood road a couple of weeks ago the 415 was the most reliable route running into Brixton and they were extremely busy.

Who cares what number it is... I'd choose 415 over 432... It's smaller It's not about number - the 415 has only been running since 2008 whereas the 432 has been running under that number since 2004. It's better to keep some familiarity. Also the 432 has the long established pattern of ending with the same number as the section of route it replaced, the 2 between Norwood and Crystal Palace Similar with: 37/337 44/344 45/345 77/127 133/333 137/417 159/139 220/270 etc

And as someone who lives at the junction of Tulse Hill & Effra Road, I'm afraid it's a waste of time - when the 2 or 432 has issues, passengers tend to take the 3 or 196 to get to Palace or Norwood. The only reason the 415 wasn't as badly affected was because it uses a minute section of Norwood Road unlike the 2 or 432 - you can't base how useful a route is by a burst water main. Besides, there were people I knew who struggled to get home on any of the 2, 415 or 432 so it can't of been that much more reliable. The only good that came out of the creation of the 415 was the diversion of the 333 through Stockwell - my 432 proposal wouldn't affect the 333 still and create far more links than the 415.

None of the Tramlink feeder routes seem to have been a great success The T31 & T33 do a decent job - 'Steve80' mentions that a number of journeys he drove on the T33 were extremely busy whilst the T31 provides a good link for Forestdale residents from nearby New Addington. Yes I appreciate that the T33 is very busy at the Croydon end especially at peak times but buses seem very quiet, often empty, at Addington Village and I don't think I've ever seen a T31 looking anywhere near busy. Actually I wonder if the full T33 service needs to go to AV, wouldn't a 5min headway to Forestdale and a 10min headway to AV be a better use of resources?
