I'm really not convinced I'm afraid, the 415 really is the most useless route ever, just extend the 432 to Elephant & Castle, three routes along Tulse Hill really are not needed. As for the 349, didn't it only come about so the 149 could be converted to bendybus? Just extend the 149 back to Ponders End. The 349 duplicates almost all of the 279 anyway, just add a few peak times extras between Edmonton Green and Seven Sisters if they are really needed but even that is doubtful I think the entire universe knows you dislike the 415. Do we *really* need to be told again? After all I have read the same argument, almost word for word, from 4 different web personas across several groups. I love the way people ignore arguments and points on these discussion groups. If you just extend the 149 then the new bit would be at risk of curtailment due to delays incurred at the City end of the route. Having the 349 as a separate route that doesn't stray into the more congested centre gives some chance of it running more reliably than the 149 does. There are plenty of curtailments on the 149 south of Edmonton Green so imagine what those curtailments would do to the service north of Edmonton if the service ran through. As I said there is merit to having some routes that do not run at 100% capacity all the time.

I know I don't like the 415 but it's not the most useless route ever - I'd think the T32 would top that list for me personally.
But then 2nd place goes to the 415 lol.

I think the 415 is a great route and the 432 is a waste of time. I think the 415 should be extended to Anerley.

It's very well used and sometimes is standing room only! In some ways the 349 could do with extra services. I would say that the 349 - Seven Sisters to Stamford Hill is a bit pointless as there is sufficient bus cover (243, 149, 76, 476). I'd like to see the 349 take a route via Tottenham Hale and perhaps onto Angel Road to boost the 192 capacity in that section. You could then withdraw the 192 between those sections and make the 192 more reliable. Anyway I'm veering off topic, but just a thought!

Indeed, I've seen 349 at Edmonton and Tottenham lots of times and it is very well used, I've even seen one full! I don't see why people compare 349 to 415 despite I've seen a 415 with 6 people on it

When I took the 349 it was pretty busy. The bus driver was also one of the friendliest I've met...
To get back on topic... the 38 and 48 aren't very exciting. I wasn't a big fan of the 109 either.
The ones I find more interesting though are the 34, 107, 113, 204, 240, 313, H91. There's a lot of fun ones.

None of the Tramlink feeder routes seem to have been a great success The T31 & T33 do a decent job - 'Steve80' mentions that a number of journeys he drove on the T33 were extremely busy whilst the T31 provides a good link for Forestdale residents from nearby New Addington.

I feel an overwhelming need to repeat a post from the other day. I'm just off to find a gun so I can blow my brains out as a preventative measure if *that* debate starts all over again.

Who cares what number it is... I'd choose 415 over 432... It's smaller

Having had a think, the most boring route I've ever had to do was probably the 77.

Having started uni in East London I've sampled several routes that run nearby or in the wider area. Not been particularly impressed by most of them really, but these really are the worst of the ones I've come across:
101/474: Keep finding slow drivers on there most of the time, whether I get an ALX400 or E400. And the route between Gallions Reach Station and Manor Park doesn't really help for faster running with traffic and stuff. And the 474 doesn't have a convenient bus stop near me. 366: Anyone who isn't familiar with the route between Gallions Reach and Barking will think you are going in circles in the middle of nowhere as there is a double run and a large section of bus-only roads mixed in with a rubbish tip and the entrance to the massive sewage treatment works (bus only roads are to reduce rat running from the A13/A406). I remember the first time I used the route back in August 2012 I actually thought I'd made a massive mistake in choosing that route to sample a Voith E200 386: This is probably the worst route I've been on, I decided to take it between Greenwich and Woolwich and I thought several days would pass before I reached Woolwich . So many side roads. N551: Seems to take forever to get to Canning Town from Gallions Reach and the only vaguely interesting bit comes after Tower Hill.
