Unfortunately I keep forgetting to check on Pincott Road (near South Wimbledon tube) to see if the southern half of the street still has its red into amber bulbs, its northern half having been done at least two years ago. Still no change as of a fortnight ago, the relevant ones still have their original design lamps from the 60s/70s. There's also a shorter streetlight off the A239 Morden Road¹ still with it's 1980's red into amber lamp. ¹ - also called Morden Road

The again, Lambeth done something similar with Woodbourne Avenue in Streatham where all other roads in the area have long been converted to LED's but Woodbourne Avenue is still untouched. It even contains a now rare DW Stratum light, something that was common across Lambeth after the PFI scheme was complete but is now probably the last remaining one in the borough, seems it was installed a number of years ago to replace an older, likely damaged column - it's located close to Steep Hill.

Another update:
As of Wednesday, most of the bulbs above the road have now been done along the Lambeth Town Hall one way system (only one left to be done on St Matthews Road) & along Brixton Road (bar two between KFC & the tube station). I haven't had a detailed look at the section beyond the bridges heading north but pretty much all are done judging by the quick peek I had from a distance. Meanwhile, the lights overlooking the pavement have also nearly been completed around the one way system again bar one on St Matthews Road whilst a number are outstanding on Brixton Road, particularly on the same side as the tube station where I don't think any have been done so far. The three outstanding ones on Coldharbour Lane won't be done until the works finish as there is currently no way to access them.

The old lights on Finchley Road (section in the Borough of Camden) still survive...

Incidentally Colliers Wood was the only town in Merton never to have any of its side roads with that style of streetlights.

The first two posts were then upgraded in conjunction with the widening of the pavement at the Merton High Street end of Pincott Road.

A small update:
TfL have fitted LED's to the remaining older columns on the section of Kennington Road between Kennington Park Road & Kennington Lane removing at least two more Thorn Alpha 8's whilst Bromley have been busy wiping out the remaining older lights including the remaining Phillips MA's in the borough and the couple of Thorn Alpha 8's left on Crystal Palace Parade. Also, whoever is in charge of the private road by Kennington Police Station at Lambeth North has fitted LED's replacing the SOX lights it had from new but at least to the existing concrete columns rather than brand new ones.
In terms of London borough's as a whole, almost every borough has at least converted half it's lighting stock including the red routes which TfL control and re-lit themselves. The one notable exception seems to be Greenwich who do have roads lite with LED's but compared to every other borough, it's few and far between. They may also be in a competition with Havering for the oldest age of all their columns combined

One was actually still working when i passed there a few weeks ago. Ironically this is reminisant of the situation that was at the other Green Lane in Norbury, which started this thread.

I realised I was looking down Abbey Road from the bus that night¹, the street having being done a few years ago directly replacing their 70's built concrete predecessors. Pincott Road however has one less of it's original 'red into amber' spec streetlights (without replacement for the time being) in relation to long term building construction. This still leaves at least two of the originals still shining there from my quick observation from the 152 last night...fully sober. I also realised yesterday on the 154 that some of the side streets off Green Lane are still red into amber concretes, this obviously being the section under the borough of Sutton as Merton's previous side street variants weren't concrete. Green Lane itself still has that one concrete streetlight working, its replacement standing there still off. ¹ - slightly tipsy coming back from Wimbledon

Passed along London Road, North Cheam the other night and glad to see an abundance of side streets still have their flock of red-into-amber concrete street lights, including some roads with the taller variants similar to what used to be on London Road itself.

Being meaning to update this thread, glad you done so - I too saw a lot of these still going strong a few months ago, seems like Sutton has no immediate plans to replace them. It's odd that they did replace all the concrete ones in the eastern side of the borough a few years ago but seemingly are leaving the western ones alone. Other updates are that TfL have fitted LED's to the existing columns small stretch of red route on Kennington Road between Kennington Lane & Kennington Park Road replacing a couple of Thorn Alpha 8's that had survived Brent have replaced the quite young columns on Wembley High Road with new ones complete with LED's (they must have money to be upgrading it again) Surrey's conversion of the main roads to LED's replacing the green WRTL Industria Arcs is well underway, think just the eastern part of the county still needs to be done. No side roads have been done thus far Not many old relics left now in London, just some columns and lights that boroughs have missed as well as a few sections owned by TfL that they've never upgraded

During late summer last year they began to upgrade all of the poles in Sutton Town Centre to LED. But I’m not sure how far they got with it though.

All the main roads in Sutton not in TfL control were done whilst they replaced the columns on the one way system last year (weirdly after fitting the LED's to the old columns for a year or so first). As you say, they must be replacing the older columns soonish though I'm hoping they stick around for as long as possible particularly as they are identical to the ones installed by Lambeth during the 70's but which almost all are gone save some on estates and by King's College Hospital
