Haven't ridden this iteration of the 16 as yet however ridership & speed should be the same due: I have a copy of all the Bus Stops on the 332 and they are identical to the 16 that I've just checked on TfL's website. Obviously cannot comment on reliability

Obviously cannot comment on reliability The handful of times I’ve used it end to end it’s virtually been the same just with more passengers on board especially going northbound

I think one of the hardest routes I've done end to end. It's a split between the 358 and 102.
The 358 with those rock hard seats from Palace to Orpington and literally going around the houses and doing that loop in Orpington.
The 102 sitting on that bus from Brent Cross. I literally wanted to scratch my eyes out when I got to Muswell Hill because of how slow the journey was going. I didn't actually plan on taking the 102 that particular day but because of the gap in service on the 232 I had to bite the bullet on the 102 and when I got to Palmers Green. I thought to myself I may as well complete the challenge to Edmonton Green.

I think one of the hardest routes I've done end to end. It's a split between the 358 and 102. The 358 with those rock hard seats from Palace to Orpington and literally going around the houses and doing that loop in Orpington. The 102 sitting on that bus from Brent Cross. I literally wanted to scratch my eyes out when I got to Muswell Hill because of how slow the journey was going. I didn't actually plan on taking the 102 that particular day but because of the gap in service on the 232 I had to bite the bullet on the 102 and when I got to Palmers Green. I thought to myself I may as well complete the challenge to Edmonton Green. I never had an issue with those two routes myself - 11 in it's old form, 19, 145 or 453 on the other hand were a right pain to do end to end especially the latter which took 3 buses to do in one attempt. The 358 was brilliant with the Scanias, had many rides full of thrash and had an epic ride on a MEC where the driver was just flooring it all the way through. Can't remember my 102 ride that well but it wasn't bad which explains why it's pretty forgettable in my head

To think the 102 used to go to Chingford! The section from Edmonton to Chingford is now covered by the 444.

A tricky one for sure. I wonder if such an idea for the 102 could be revisited along with other routes if it becomes further more unbearable traffic wise. Say if enough stand space at Muswell Hill.
