This thread could cover many sections, but i'd imagine this will be mainly bus. It is fantasy obviously, therefore no idea is silly!
I'd like to double track the Seven Sisters curve, remodel South Tottenham and have a service Enfield Town to Stratford
I'd like to reignite the North-South tram again.
I'd remodel Camden Town
I would make the Northern Heights into a tramway and connect onto Seven Sisters Road
What would be your projects?
Clearly mine are North London biased buts that's where I'm from!

Create a branch just after Morden Road on the Wimbledon tram, the line curving back under Morden Road, resurfacing at the grass section in the middle of Merantum Way and following it it at street level to terminating at colliers wood in front of 'Britain's ugliest building'. This would give the tram a direct link with the northern line as well as the retails.

Build a footbridge to cross the River Thames between Deptford and Manchester Road (Isle of Dogs).

Oh dear now you've asked! Whether people think things these are "vanity" schemes is for them. Naturally *I* think they're the most brilliant projects ever invented. I would convert the busiest 35 bus routes to trams. I would convert the busiest 36-90 bus routes to trolleybuses. I would use the buses displaced from the above projects to boost capacity on overloaded routes and to introduce many more services in areas where strategic links are missing or where people are not served. I would expand the number of bus stations and interchanges. I would implement a 30 year strategy to increase station capacity on the tube and rail network. I would build 3 new tube lines. I would develop and implement a "next generation" version of London Overground to expand capacity and frequencies. I would implement a programme to add infill stations on the rail network. I would build the Coppermill curve to allow trains to run Chingford to Stratford. I would place all London suburban rail services under TfL control with minimum service levels which were the same every day of the week. I would also embark on a programme of building extra bus depot capacity and to provide for conversion of bus depots for trolleybus and tram operation.

This isn't a project: Increase the frequency of route 47 to every 7-8 minutes.

- Free WiFI on buses - Micro-USB charging ports on buses too (upper deck only). Or maybe just standard plug sockets. This might be easier. Build a footbridge to cross the River Thames between Deptford and Manchester Road (Isle of Dogs). The foot tunnel in Greenwich isn't too far...

Introduce a South West London Transit, SW1 and SW2, SW1 would be a 24 hour service from Ealing Broadway to Feltham over most of the 235, every 6-7 minutes and SW2 would cover the entire 235 (which would be withdrawn), running at roughly the same frequency, creating a service between Brentford and Feltham every 3-3.5 mins. And to top it all off, it would be NB4L operated! (mainly to show off, I'd rather use E400 MMC) East London Transit eat your heart out!
Extend routes to their PROPER length (e.g. 37 from Hounslow to Peckham, 90 from Northolt to West Brompton, 40 from Dulwich to Wanstead etc.) In this I will also accommodate more, higher frequency and longer Heriatage routes.
Free wi-fi and power on all buses and I would make comfort a factor on tender awards!
Strengthen Hammersmith Bridge, so that (at a minimum) 33 and 72 could become double deck.
Remodel (where possible) low bridges on busy routes (e.g. 358 and H37) so that they can use double decks.
The list is endless, I could go on all day... and I may post more later.

1. Bus Lanes will be for buses only- NO taxis, cyclists and motorbikes, also no parking spaces in bus lanes. 2. All bus lanes will be 24 hours and the fine would be £200 or £100 if paid in the first 7 days. 3. Convert nearly all of Zone 1 bus routes into trolleybuses but these trolleybuses will have batteries so you won't need wires from the garage to the route and if they run out of Zone 1 they can still operate. 4. Make the underground pricing simpler or charge X amount per 100 meters traveled 5. Increase bus capacity by having 3 axle buses a mix of hybrid and diesel 6. Make the Overground a proper circular route but also have/ extend legs that come off it 7. Build more crossrail routes- one north to south, south east to north west and south west to north east 8. Increase Saturday bus and rail services to a week day service and Sunday services to a Saturday service 9. Make the Blackwall 4 lanes each way and simplify the junction 10. Scrap charging for the Dartford crossing 11. Build a new bridge or tunnel inbetween the Blackwall and Dartford crossings

Ok you asked for it lol:
Remove all speed humps & traffic calming measures on all bus routes to speed up journey times and for a more comfortable ride.
Extend the Victoria Line to East Croydon, calling at Herne Hill, Tulse Hill, Streatham Hill, West Norwood, Streatham, Norbury, Thornton Heath, Thornton Heath Pond & West Croydon.
Extend the Bakerloo Line to Lewisham, calling at Walworth, Camberwell Green, Peckham, Nunhead, Brockley & Ladywell.
Re-ignite the Crystal Palace Tramlink extension
Build Overground stations at Brixton & Loughborough Junction for interchange with Thameslink & the Victoria Line.
Re-ignite the East London Crossing plan - a river crossing in that part of London is seriously needed.
Modify the bus route consultation process so that passengers views actually do matter
Convert busy single decker routes with no restrictions to double deck operation.
Implement a bus only right hand turn in Brixton for the 35 & 355 to directly access Acre Lane from Brixton Road - the P5 could also access Acre Lane directly from Coldharbour Lane.
