In fairness you said St Paul’s Cray.
Such a long route for only 10 bus stops, is there a demand to go from Orpington to Dartford, would this be quicker than the direct 477? The route is a good idea in principle, but traffic holds buses up, I would think it better if the route served more stops, but still limited stops and after Bexley, run the bus on the A2 to Bluewater, then onto maybe Dartford or Ebbsfleet/Gravesend.

Reroute the St St Raphael’s bound 92s between Rockware Avenue via a double run via Greenford Road and Green Park Way for Westway Cross. To link Greenford and Sudbury Hill with Westway Cross.

Bus routes I would use, but will never happen due to route length, costs, decisions already made etc - hence why this is in the fantasy thread:
Silvertown tunnel: 22-23 buses per hour, 3 routes:
5 - Extended to North Greenwich Station - run time, schmun time. Direct links through Newham into Barking and onwards to Romford. What's not to like about that? This route would be rammed daily in and out of North Greenwich. Hopper fare would get an absolute battering with transfers at North Greenwich. 69 - Extended to Charlton Station via North Greenwich Station, then route 486 to Charlton Station. Links into Stratford and Walthamstow. Lovely. Also supports the extra mountains of flats being built in the area with limited to no parking space for visitors. 129 - Extended to Beckton as proposed. Because one direct link to Beckton is plenty.
New cross-border service:
400 - Swanley Station - Elmstead Woods Station: Monday - Saturday, 9M single deck every 30 minutes via: Swanley Station (Azlea Drive), Goldsel Road, Swanley High Street, Swanley Village, Hextable, Wilmington High Road, Wilmington (Common Lane), Oakfield Lane, Bexley Park, Bexley Village, Parkhill Road, Blendon, Penhill Road, Hurst Road, Sidcup Station, Sidcup High Street, Chislehurst War Memorial, Chislehurst High Street, White Horse Hill, Elmstead Lane, Elmstead Woods Station ( tight turn at the roundabout, extend stop A to accommodate stand space for 1 bus)

To link Harrow and Edgware at night and Barnet and Edgware at night. Building onto your point, 140 deffo needs an extension to Stanmore, also via 340. X140 could also go to Barnet Church via 384 to Stirling Corner and 107 to Barnet High Street. I think 340 to South Harrow would also be fair. Btw I'd prefer them all as HD routes, AD in Harrow feels weird and SO is just a shambles.

I assume you mean the X140 to replace the 340, however the 340 is a short local route and incorporating it into an extended X140 could lessen reliability for passengers between Edgware and Harrow. Edgware to Heathrow can be achieved by taking the 186 to Harrow and changing to the X140, which is actually a shorter journey.

I haven’t said anything about the X140 replacing the 340. The extended x140 will run alongside the 340 and not replace it.

Right I’ll do this all over again so it makes more sense. Now that a space at a space at New Barnet is free I think that the following should happen:
340: extended from Edgware to New Barnet Station via route 384 to Arkley Hotel and 107 to New Barnet Station. To provide more capacity between Barnet and Edgware. 384: withdrawn between Quinta Drive and Edgware. X140: extended from Harrow to Edgware via route 340 to Edgware. To link Edgware with Heathrow. N140: extended from Harrow Weald to New Barnet Station via route 340 to Edgware, 384 to Arkley Hotel and 107 to New Barnet Station. To link Harrow and Edgware at night and Barnet and Edgware at night.

New school route 614, Kensington Leisure Centre to Wembley Central vi's JL-2 routing to Willesden Green, 266 to Cricklewood Broadway and 316 to Westway Sports Centre and Silchester Road in its entirety. Aims: To aid 316 in school runs to and from the academy next to the leisure centre as well as serving many other schools e.g. St Augustin's Operated by Metroline from W with 2 TEHs and 2 VWHs from the old 332 allocation. These will crosslink with 316 as 295 will be re-routed to replace the Maida Vale - Shepherds Bush section of the 228. 228 will be withdrawn from service as 283 will cover the East Acton to CMH section

The 295 as an every 7-8 minute DD replacing a 228 that runs every 20+ minutes SD, that seems very ill-representative of demand.

As a local of the 295, 316 and 228 I'd say that demand is quite a lot, many complain about having an every 20+min service. Also, 316 would get a PVR increase and DDs so that would balance out the pressure as well as having 614
