Engines are not decisive on track in Singapore - but there was a lot of talk off it! Eddie Jordan is known to get the future precise (Look at Michael Schumacher and then Lewis Hamilton) and now he's speculated that Red Bull will run with Ferrari powered engines for the next 2 seasons, and Volkswagen taking over the team for an entry as an engine manufacturer in 2018 (Most likely Audi). I'm sure a split with Renault is imminent as I can't see why they'll want to struggle through with poorly made engines. It's barely become more powerful since the Hybrid era begun and not enough effort has been put into the engine. A shame really. I do hope Renault pull up their socks like Ferrari did this year and hopefully in the next few seasons can have a competitive engine, if they do take over Lotus and make it a full works team again.
On track was certainly unexpected and a surprise and you wouldn't have expected Mercedes to struggle like they did over the weekend. I highly doubt they've completely lost their superiority just based on one weekend, the W06 is a fantastic car and I think normal service will resume on Friday. I'm guessing it's down to the Singapore climate. In Monaco they were strong with the super softs but because Singapore is hotter it places more dependance on tyre management. Perhaps hinting Mercedes struggles? A similar scenario to Malaysia but even there they had the pace but just had bad tyre life. I think it's good that we get different winners to Mercedes and usually (Well in the last 2 years) it's more of the exciting races, a lot of fans on Twitter are bored of Mercedes dominance and I think they'll feel refreshed a bit after what happened over the weekend. I highly doubt anyone will stop Mercedes this year, but if Ferrari can continue this upward trend from this season they could pose as big threats.

Lewis Hamilton won his third world title in Austin on Sunday by winning after a spectacular race, which saw lots of safety cars/virtual safety cars and lead changes. Rosberg was really unhappy as he made a mistake and gifted the lead to Hamilton. Both Williams cars were out of the race, as was Raikonnen and Kvyat

F1 for 2015 has ended today with Nico Rosberg winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ahead of Hamilton and Raikkonen. As a Hamilton fan, i think this year has been the best yet! But hopefully Mercedes will return stronger next year with work on their new car well underway! Im also looking forward to see if Ferrari can challenge them! Im gonna miss this season, but i can't wait for F1 to return to our screens on 20/03/16!

Im gonna miss this season........... Really? I've been a fan for over 20 years but this season has really tested me despite one of my favourite drivers being in the best car. I've found a lot of the racing dull beyond belief to the extent that I didn't even bother watching today's race (watched the tennis instead) and just followed it on Twitter To be fair I've felt like this towards the end of the season for the past few years now and have always felt the enthusiasm returning as Melbourne approaches but if it's more of the same in 2016 I may well find other things to do on a Sunday afternoon, at least until 2017 anyway when changes to the regs should shuffle the deck somewhat

My favourite moment of the season was when the season finished. So yeah apart from 3 amazing races (Silverstone, Hungary and USA) whats really to talk about in 2015?
The racing was a turn off for me most of the time and it's actually quite funny how the Top 10 in the championship are actually in formation of the Top 5 teams in the constructors standings. If costs were a lot cheaper then I can see a lot closer racing but sadly, I can pretty much see 2016 being too much of a political season with more engine fights because Renault & Honda are still a long way off Mercedes & Ferrari.
I'd hope to talk more about on track than engines next year...

Safety of everyone was, is and must always be paramount, but please lets give the drivers back control of the cars. Can you imagine someone like James Hunt being told by someone on the end of a computer how to drive his car?

This comes as no surprise but David Coulthard will be part of the Channel 4 coverage this coming season with the company he co founded, Whisper films winning the rights to produce Channel 4's F1 coverage.

I take it C4 won't be showing highlights of the other races?
