I certainly will be at some point. This plan will solely benefit cyclist, even pedestrians face being inconvenienced by these plans. I respect that Lea Bridge Road is at the epicentre of cycling in Waltham Forest, however these proposals are not reasonable and will not allow all road users (except cyclists) to complete there journeys in a reasonable time. I guess this is what is to be expected in Waltham Forest for Forest Road and Chingford Road, etc. Boris Johnson is anti buses all he cares about is his stupid cycle lanes please friends don't get offended but I really hate cyclists and their stupid cycle lanes causing nuisance for everybody else, the sooner Boris goes the better, sir ken was alot better he really cared about buses Goodness me how dare he make cycling in London safer, whatever next? All these Boris v Ken arguments have been done ad nauseam and don't really get anywhere so what is the point in trying to bring this all up again?

What are the new frequencies for the 80 come December? Monday-Saturday from 10 to every 7-8. Monday-Saturday early mornings, Sunday daytimes and all evenings from 20 to every 15. And Sunday early mornings from 30 mins to 20. The 80 certainly needs a frequency increase (and double deckers) buses are often rammed in and out of Morden in both directions at peak times

He also brought in a type of bus that was really only effective on two routes so while Boris has made mistakes, Ken made some too - neither has been an out and out success even though I voted for Boris.

And just to add a tiny bit more balance Ken presided over the exercise to exhume every dead or half dead RM / RML that could be found and restore them to service in London. This added greatly to the numbers in preservation or active private hire work that sees shiny Routemasters on London's roads every day. And Boris oversaw and did not stop the removal of the Heritage 9 service. Not saying which is good or bad just that the story is nearly always more nuanced than people like to think. We don't need a massive debate about any of this - so much has been said before.

Just looking at the new 123 timetable and spotted two interesting changes with late night buses. The previous last three buses from Ilford that terminated just beyond Tottenham Hale will now run through to Wood Green. The service frequency of the last buses from Ilford is every 20 minutes but from Wood Green will be every 15 minutes. Most odd.
I suspect the running through to Wood Green is because Tottenham's involvement ceases with all buses and crews from Edmonton.

After a recent incident maybe they don't want drivers hanging around Wood Green than is necessary

I see Mr Munster is reporting another timetable change on the 123 "to improve reliability". This seems to involve giving us an even more confusing and useless timetable with 10, 11 and 12 minute headways all jumbled up throughout the day. Who comes up with this nonsense? Also makes me wonder what on earth has been done with the stats to allow Arriva to gain a QIC extension due to "amazing performance" which is apparently so bad that yet another reliability timetable is needed. Still we only had 15-20 minute gaps in this evening's peak so why do I complain and moan? It's clearly all wonderful. I see there appears to be a move away from using buses from Tottenham on Sats possibly meaning all VLAs on Saturdays although the wording is a tad unclear. Currently 12 VLAs and 4 DWs on the route.

It could be to do with the general changes to night buses, and particularly the weekend night 123. It would be weird if you had the last three 123's terminate at Tottenham and the next 123's to go Wood Green on a Friday night for example.

I wonder if Arriva are actually using a "cut down" version of the weekend night bus schedule with some short term adjustments. Obviously the change to the garage arrangements means there's no need to halt buses at AR.

More panic measures from TfL due to the mismanagement of Aldgate and Cycle Superhighway works. Source - TfL Bus Service change document [1] and yes I know this is wrong but it's a direct cut and paste from TfL's document.

Also no such street as "St. Bevis Marks", courtesy of the 205 diversion map. Who is putting these things together?

I wonder how 254's will fit in on Cavell Street, because from my observations 106 can fill the whole stand (3 buses) maximum, which would also almost fill the road. But this was when 106 was Stagecoach.

My old primary school made two really bad errors on a map handed out for a sports day event in Herne Hill a few years ago. The 468 had suddenly morphed back in time and became the 68A again and a 500 series route suddenly popped up out of thin air.
