Also no such street as "St. Bevis Marks", courtesy of the 205 diversion map. Who is putting these things together? My old primary school made two really bad errors on a map handed out for a sports day event in Herne Hill a few years ago. The 468 had suddenly morphed back in time and became the 68A again and a 500 series route suddenly popped up out of thin air. Can't argue with the longevity of your staff I suppose. I note the 171A and 243A occasionally find themselves exhumed through venue literature around my neck of the woods. And don't tell anyone the 73 has left!

Heard today that the 160 is to get a new temporary timetable and +1 PVR increase to improve reliability ! (cue a rant by TL1 LOL ) I doubt that they will send an extra decker for it though

(cue a rant by TL1 LOL ) I doubt that they will send an extra decker for it though The PVR Was 12 Earlier this Year for a short time. 12 Double deckers have been in service on the route quite a few times. It was run a lot better with 12 Buses.

To be fair, Arriva London now have a good number of spare deckers so there's really no excuse for AKT to use single deckers on the route. I'd be surprised if DT don't get another bus in...

I see LBR has updated the Victoria (Terminus Place) return dates for routes 2/36/185/436, 16 (maybe more) to October 2018. It seems it won't end.

"Dispute between London Buses, Barratts and Hounslow Council" - wonder what that's all about then? Looks like someone got things in a bit of a mess if there's a dispute over fixing a broken barrier.

"Dispute between London Buses, Barratts and Hounslow Council" - wonder what that's all about then? Looks like someone got things in a bit of a mess if there's a dispute over fixing a broken barrier. It sounds like failed communication somewhere along the line. Barratt's have said that "The necessary repairs have been made", no problem there. "Hounslow Council has facilitated meetings between Barratt and TfL to ensure the return of the return of the 235", again no problem there. So why isn't the route running? According to Brentfordtw8.com as part of Barratt's planning condition to provide a public transport link. This made me wonder if the same conditions are included in the Wandsworth Riverside Quarter... If the barrier is repaired then I don't see why the buses can't return - there has to be something else going on in the background that no one is making public. Being tedious I had a look at the development's website. It does make mention of the bus stop. Bizarrely it says rail and tube stations are within walking distance! and that there are direct buses to Central London nearby. The only bus to Central London that runs nearby is the 702 but it has no stops nearby. Presumably Hammersmith, via the H91, is "Central" London? It's a shame the GWQ wasn't designed to allow a bus to run through and then onwards to the Clayponds Estate. The roads are a tad narrow but a localised service using smaller buses might have been more convenient overall with no need to stand at GWQ - it'd run through instead and run to Brentford Town Centre.

I would not be surprised. They've never got additional buses in in the past. When the New Double Deckers arrive there will be 44 Double Deckers. PVRs 160 = 12 229 = 20 492 = 7 Total PVR = 38. There will be 5 Spare Deckers.

There will be 5 Spare Deckers. This is what I've argued for and predicted might even happen before the tender results. A bigger route or two in the garage (ideally the 229 would be joined with something else) and then there's enough resilience in the garage's DD stock to put some out on the 428 from time to time, cover the 492 properly (which requires seven buses to run, even if the schedule at present only has a PVR of six) and keep the 160 well stocked. There are many weeks where every T is pressed into service every day. They achieve quite a lot with that fleet but obviously there are only so many to go around.
