Anything could replace it because 2401 is only on the 207 due to the postponement of it's cutback to Shepherd's Bush.

Looks like the 427 cut won't happen in time for the 407. I guess the ex 188 ones could go on the 407 with the 414 waiting a bit longer for hybrids.

I just have a feeling that Abellio will win the 278 with existing hybrids from the 427, looking at the tender programme I'm guessing that the contract for the 278 will probably start in June 2020 most likely the 27th? but we'll find out soon

King's Cross Road southbound closed from 8th June until 7th July just seen it on a dot-matrix sign outside Kings cross station no reson for the closure

I was in central London a few days back and the van-on-van-on-cab congestion was just ridiculous

The TfL street works register shows sewer reconstruction and other works taking place. Thames Water, TfL and Islington Borough all have booked works showing.

This is TfL's London Register of Roadworks: public.londonworks.gov.uk/
 
Another very useful website is: roadworks.org/

I prefer the latter simply due to the fact that you can see planned works up to 12 months in advance, whereas TfL's Register only shows information for the next 3 months.
