Looks like 257’s curtailment is extending to December. So they changed all the 257 signs a couple of weeks ago to state 8 November for the route to not return again, so not sure what the thinking was there. However, my initial thinking way back when this started was that this route would not return until the station changes occurred was right. Planning around a long term closure of Walthamstow is a lot more complicated than when it happened a few times 10+ years ago. The Hoe Street junction has a new layout preventing easy turns. The current development has taken out a bus lane on Selborne Road and also is at the location where the buses used to turn using the delivery car park area. You also have more routes. So I suspect there will alot of delays. The 58 turning at Markhouse Corner is unhelpful. 212 terminating at stop M is weird. TfL have posted letters to local residents which is an odd but helpful move. I would have thought the 58 would terminate at South Grove and the 212 at Church Hill!

I presume it's because there isn't any more room to terminate the 58 alongside the rest of the routes that will be standing at South Grove as a result of the closure as well the couple of routes turfed out of the bus station when the SL routes were created

I assume Stagecoach will run the full PVR for the duration of the works, so I'm excited to see if the 58 will be more reliable on the rest of its route.

Sunday's especially is required.

'To meet current and expected demand Route 192 (Tottenham Hale Station to Enfield Town) buses will operate every 12 minutes instead of every 15 minutes after 19:30 on all evenings of the week from Saturday 9 November. There is no change to the frequency at any other time.'

They even seem to be starting on routes outside of Central again with the 432's recent result.

Surely the Sunday daytime frequency must be being increased too?
