Real shame this R7 withdrawal. Seems utterly pointless and petty, mean-spirited and cruel, thoughtless and heartless - par for the course for TfL nowadays. Doesn't save any buses or significant cost, pales into utter insignificance compared to the draconian central cuts and of course all the rail enhancements.
As others have said, locals have a dangerous walk to the now nearest stop and those without cars are disenfranchised.
Just to add I did a farewell trip the other day with lunch at the Bo Peep - fabulous! Shame that in future you'll have to drive or that awful walk. Not In the same league as the locals lifeline... but shame on you TfL.

TFL getting prepared already, this should be gradually updated.
Bus changes in the Central London area This section covers changes to bus routes that pass through the London boroughs of Camden, City of London, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
There are no planned changes at this time.

It's been said changes of the Central London routes will take place in the 2023/2024 financial period. Contracts will likely extend to coincide with the routes up for tender. The 349 extended to the 279/259 tender for example.

As I've said many times on here that the changes will happen in the 2023/24 financial year, so no changes will happen this year. The 11, 78 and 349 contracts will likely be extended (so for example 11 may be extended until 23rd June 2023, which is when the current 26 contract expires and the 11/26 change would commence on the 24th June 2023 and the 78's contract may get extended until 19th January 2024 which is when the current 388 contract expires and the 78/388 change would commence on the 20th January 2024, etc).

Sometimes they don't put bold of bus route in with all other normal text fonts really annoyed me.

Why can't they be sorted with the newest at the top, oldest at the bottom .... very simple change to make .... really makes you wonder if they ever do any UAT testing.

But this new way of dividing up London's bus routes has got me wondering...
Which route, if it ever changed, would be repeated in the most categories?
I reckon it's the 341, which would have to be listed under Central London, North London, East London and South London, missing out only on West London.

What they need to do is to reclassify west London as anywhere from Aldwych and further west. Then it would come under west London too.

I always thought it should pick up with the 44. Interesting to see the 44/C1/C10 split up, I remember the tiny pavement overflowing at the pre-covid stop. The current stopping arrangement is great and gives plenty of space for the 11/44/170 etc. Why does it need to change?
