TfL haven't got around to removing the Covid-era school bus posters from shelters across London yet. Nor many of the social distancing posters / stickers etc. Why would we expect them to update bus stop information for a significant route change? As we know TfL stands for Transport Failing Londoners.
I shall reserve judgement on the R6870 changes until tomorrow morning's school / peak rush. I fully expect to hear of large numbers being left behind or of ridiculously overloaded buses where the driver simply gives up and loads until the doors won't close.
A complete and completely avoidable fiasco.

A complete and completely avoidable fiasco. Definitely avoidable. At the very least the R70 could have kept the same freq and had a couple of extras from Twickenham to Richmond or seen if Abellio could do atleast 1 DD journey from maybe FW to Richmond Station in the morning.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 275 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 14 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays, to every 13 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 22 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary change is to give buses more time to complete journeys while buses are diverted due to a weak bridge on Broadmead Road.

Upcoming Changes: Changes to buses from Saturday 16 September The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 16 September. Route N199 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times. I note that both TfL journey and bustimes.org has cut off from around 4am and long two hours gap to Sunday first bus 208 near 6am! N199 used to be cover between last bus toward Trafalgar sq then couple buses toward Lewisham station?! Do anyone know at TL know if there is still special cover between last normal N199 and first bus 208 will be cover like 2 hours gap?! I know lots of people need a buses to work place on Sunday early morning! Bus 208 is no good as it didn't start until around late 5.45ish am.

I imagine it is fairly cost effective to add a few journeys to the 59. I am assuming the capacity is needed as far as Holborn station unless the 59 is being used a lot than most expected on the new section.

Richmond Manor Circus Works from 9 September 2023
From Saturday 9 September changes to some routes occurred due to major roadworks taking place at Manor Circus roundabout in Richmond.
Due to these works some structural changes to route R68 and R70 have taken place.
Route R68 is currently running between Hampton Court Station and Twickenham, York Street only. Route R70 now runs between Hampton, Nurserylands and Kew Retail Park.
Route R68 continues to run every 15 minutes between Hampton Court and Twickenham, York Street. If you need to travel between Twickenham and Kew Retail Park, please change to the R70 at stop H, named York Street/Twickenham, to continue your journey.
Route R70 now runs every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays and is temporarily extended to run between Richmond Manor Circus and Kew Retail Park via all the stops route R68 served.
During this phase of the works, route R70 will not serve bus stop SC outside Sainsbury's on Manor Road in Richmond. For travel to/from Sainsbury's, passengers should either alight on Lower Mortlake Road or use bus route 371 instead (interchange can be made at Richmond station in both directions).
These works are due to finish sometime in the spring of 2024.

Changes to routes 218 & N266 at Hammersmith - 9 September 2023
From Saturday 9 September there will be a change to the pickup and set down points at Hammersmith Bus Station on routes 218 and N266.
Routes 218 and N266 will now pick up from bus stop B in the upper bus station at Hammersmith and no longer serve the lower bus station. Both routes will also set down at the alighting point in the upper bus station rather than the lower bus station.
This change is to provide a common bus stop at Hammersmith Bus Station for northbound buses on routes 218, 306 and N266.
