Well RATP are the big losers and Abellio are the big winners today Service wise RATP are the winners and Abellio the losers. The C3 is a loss making route. It barely ever meets targets. RATP done the right thing by flogging it off What sort of targets are involved? Punctuality and reliability? How does a route make a loss for an operator, because they have to put more resources (drivers/vehicles) into it than they originally anticipated at tender stage, in order to meet the targets?

Metroline and Arriva both lose much more in terms of PVR. Metroline are fine.... They have the 9/N9 - 223 - 228 incoming and retained all work apart from the E5 No major issues. Arriva on the other hand...…. 78/133/157/325/333 the list could even bigger in the next few weeks with only the 76 coming in.... *E6* not E5. Yes like you said we're doing fine at the moment, retaining all of our work apart from the E6.

Sorry I saw this elsewhere on the forum, is it true the 394 is getting extend to King’s Cross? Is there a consultation on this? There hasn't been one released recently but it might come up considering there's going to be a change in the PVR for the new contract There's no change to the PVR, it remains at 10, its a Frequency reduction I believe that is involved as part of the consultation.

Punctually is NOT a thing in a High Freequency Route. Even headways make a service count. Doesn't matter how early or late the buses are as long as they are evenly spaced out. 2 buses running together counts as one. Trust me... The service under Abellio won't be any better either as there current set of controllers are mediocrity. Most of the good ones have come over to GAL

I feel that the 328 will go to RATP and the 28 to Abellio. These routes are very hard to run reliably

If they make the main cross boundary routes over x30 Mins everywhere I’d be happy with that ! The 117 & 203 are the busiest routes into Staines and both drop frequencies eves and Sundays , both ridiculously busy and need enhancements as well , so good news for the 107 but now about some more good news for SW London please TfL ? Totally agree, enhancements on the 117 and 203 might even break even. 117 is the main route between West Middlesex Hospital and Hounslow town centre, often leaves West Middlesex Hospital with standing passengers. A frequency enhancement would would serve two purposes, general outer London/cross boundary ULEZ enhancements and improving access to hospitals. Meanwhile a Green Party analysis of a TfL FOI release about bus mileage reductions shows that LB of Hounslow has suffered the greatest reduction in bus mileage of any outer London Borough. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the analysis but was interesting to note. 203 has at least been double decked. 117 does need a boost ideally but can't see that happening. One cost neutral suggestion would be to take some off the 235 say 3/4 vehicles reduce the 235 slightly and increase the 117 to say x15 min. This would keep the same pvr between the busiest section of lower Feltham to hounslow (albeit by a slightly different routing in North Feltham increase access to west middx hospital and staines and please the noisy neighbours at North Brentford quarter !

Several observations in Richmond since the changes and the 33 and R70 especially are struggling in the PM peak. It's almost like a busy corridor had it's services slashed and those passengers still need a way to get around!
However, on a positive note (first positive post in a while perhaps), I've been really impressed with the 110's loadings on the new middle section between Whitton and Richmond. I'll admit I knocked it before I tried it. Solid loadings in both directions, especially passengers disembarking the tube/train at Richmond and hopping on the 110 to Whitton in the PM.

Yes, the 110 has built up a solid following between Whitton and Richmond.

I've also been noticing how the Manor Circus works have been affecting the 371. I often see them running in pairs and one running through to Manor Circus is quickly becoming a rare sight. As someone who travels between Richmond and Whitton often, when I do use the 110, I find that it does get really healthy loads. Hence my clear preference for the train* and only using the 110 when there are problems on the train! Even during Wednesday's rail strike, I used the Feltham - Waterloo shuttles which were running every half an hour. *poor reliability is also a factor, especially with the Manor Circus works
