Quite. And while Heathrow is very much a 7-day operation creating a significant early-hours peak flow of staff in both directions on a Sunday as much as any other day it isn't alone in that. To a lesser extent all transport operators fall into the same bracket as do some of the heavier industries around the London area. Not to mention the hospitality industry where staff may be required on duty at very early hours and night-shift workers are off home before 6am.

The last T Sq trip on the N89 early Sunday morning is heaving. Interesting as it provides some unique links rather than wholly parallel a daytime route, which part of the route? Where are they all heading for? I wonder if the withdrawal of the 45 north of Elephant has had an effect.

We stop at every stop from Blackheath usually to pick people up. That’s where I get on these days but bus is already around half full at Blackheath ex Erith.

What time does Southeastern start up on a Sunday morning? That might explain why the N89 is well loaded.

I think that's exactly it, Southeastern services wouldn't start much before 07.00 on a Sunday and are often disrupted by engineering work, likewise the last N136 from Chislehurst can get quite busy.

Sunday southeastern services don’t start up until 0630 at the earliest . I only use the N89 on early Sun am So not sure what the loadings are like on the same trip on weekday mornings.

There are notices on the bus stops in Victoria and Westminster, that from the 5th October buses on the 148 towards Camberwell Green will operate via Terminus Place in Victoria.

It did operate via Terminus Place years ago, I think it served the same stop as the 11 rather than the 36 stop but I can't remember for certain.

Yes I'm sure it was that one as it headed towards Westminster along with the 11 and 211.

It's been over a month since the TfL Bus Changes webpage was updated.
Have there really been no bus changes since then, or has nobody updated the updates page? (perhaps because, since the cyber attack, they can't)

Limited/no access still to most staff to internal systems hence no updates there (neither anywhere on 99% of the website!).
LBR has info on some of the timetable changes.

What exactly are TfLs staff doing all day if they can’t do their jobs?

What exactly are TfLs staff doing all day if they can’t do their jobs? I hope once this is sorted, if it ever will be anytime soon, that it's independently looked into by a reputed IT consultancy firm and a statement made as to what the root cause of it was and the mitigations taken place to prevent this from happening again.
