It's been over a month since the TfL Bus Changes webpage was updated.
Have there really been no bus changes since then, or has nobody updated the updates page? (perhaps because, since the cyber attack, they can't)
Limited/no access still to most staff to internal systems hence no updates there (neither anywhere on 99% of the website!).
LBR has info on some of the timetable changes.
OK, the bus changes webpage has now been updated with a long section entitled "Upper Street closures from 20:00 Monday 28 October 2024". So the cyber attack can't still be the problem.
But still no details of any permanent bus changes since 21st September (and there have been several).

The two issues of the cyberattack beyond the actual attack that we’ve been discussing are twofold: 1. Data feeds being down as a ‘proactive’ measure 2. The restriction of access to staff to internal systems confirmed implicitly by TfL and by our insiders here and on other forums, the latter seems The TfL webpage on the cyberattack mentions that they are conducting an ‘all-staff IT identity check’ which I’d imagine means once somebody is cleared they can regain access? So perhaps someone who works that page has finally regained access but not everyone? Wonder if one of our insiders here could provide an update if they are authorised! I can’t quite 100% confirm since the trusty wayback machine has just also been subject to a cyberattack (!), but the Piccadilly Line Upgrade page has also been updated in the last few days to include the Caledonian Road platform closures. I can only applaud if TfL has figured out that updated passenger information remains essential information that should be provided even if in ‘fallback’ mode… because it has been a month…

What exactly are TfLs staff doing all day if they can’t do their jobs? I hope once this is sorted, if it ever will be anytime soon, that it's independently looked into by a reputed IT consultancy firm and a statement made as to what the root cause of it was and the mitigations taken place to prevent this from happening again. With the way this world is going they would probably blame Russia.

From 26 October, W8, W9 and 313 to be rerouted at Chase Farm Hospital. After serving the stop on Hunters Way, they will now continue on the fairly new Hunters Way extension, and turn left on to the W8/W9 stand where they will terminate, except the 313 which will serve bus stop and pass through. Chace Village Road will no longer be served (no great loss). W8 and W9 passengers will be dropped slightly further away from the main entrance, 313 passengers quite a bit nearer. BTW, this is on a Notice of Events to begin with, owing to the ongoing cyber attack business, but it is a permanent change.

Not a change I like, I'd much rather the service beforehand Why is that may I ask? It's faster for the U2 to go via the whole length of Windsor Avenue. Then again it is more of a local route so

The bus changes webpage has been updated, basically removing all the big changes from September (W12/W13/W14/549 etc)
The only new addition is
Bus stop changes at Chase Farm Hospital From Saturday 26 October bus stop locations will change at Chase Farm Hospital due to the new road layout changes being introduced impacting routes 313, W8 and W9.
It doesn't say what the new bus stop locations actually are.
We've had no mention of frequency and timetable tweaks for over a month now.

Did the 313 on the Saturday. It didn't serve the new road it instead turned left onto Chase Village Road as normal

There are about 30 stairs To change between buses and Victoria line avoiding stairs - use bus route 230 between Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Looks like 257’s curtailment is extending to December. So they changed all the 257 signs a couple of weeks ago to state 8 November for the route to not return again, so not sure what the thinking was there. However, my initial thinking way back when this started was that this route would not return until the station changes occurred was right. Planning around a long term closure of Walthamstow is a lot more complicated than when it happened a few times 10+ years ago. The Hoe Street junction has a new layout preventing easy turns. The current development has taken out a bus lane on Selborne Road and also is at the location where the buses used to turn using the delivery car park area. You also have more routes. So I suspect there will alot of delays. The 58 turning at Markhouse Corner is unhelpful. 212 terminating at stop M is weird. TfL have posted letters to local residents which is an odd but helpful move.
