The Bakerloo line will be suspended from 19:00 due to shortage of control room staff and staff self isolating. Customers are advised to finish their journeys by 17:30 Wonder how the 18 will cope.

What are we thinking the results of tonight's game are? I'm optimistic it's coming home but what do you all think? I'll say 1-0 to England but I think it really is 50/50.

Tend to agree, think the first goal will win it ... but not sure which way it will go. Not expecting it to be a classic game though.

Itโs going to be tight, itโs going to be tense and itโs going to be nervy and itโll definitely be won by the odd goal. Iโm going 2-1 after extra time and itโs going to be coming home! I can only imagine the nerves all round if it has to go all the way to penalty shoot-outs.

I have seen at Uxbridge and Yiewsley they display something along the lines of 'Come on England and Gareth Southgate Bring it Home!' where the bus time countdown is.
Even saw a man riding a horse with an England flag shouting it's coming home, and two men on the U5 with an England flag who spoke to the driver about England, driver seemed very happy.
There's definitely an optimistic mood around London, I'm glad England have brought all this excitement.

I would have thought they would put extras on local routes? I don't think they will put on Replacement buses on this late in advanced.

I don't think they will put on Replacement buses on this late in advanced. I believe they've prepared for the worst should England win, which is probably not to actually allow buses even through the area. Fans will celebrate rather than wanting to run home on the 18 or 92. This is from NMCC Various Central London routes have also been curtailed or put on diversion due to crowds.

There's definitely an optimistic mood around London, I'm glad England have brought all this excitement. What I am pleased about more than anything, is that Gareth Southgate and the England team are showing us a different vision of what Englishness can be. It's not about right-wing politicians and media personalities declaring culture wars and decrying "wokeness" in the name of patriotism. Instead we have a team of genuinely compassionate young men of varied backgrounds. Marcus Rashford's campaigning on children's well-being has been extraordinary, and the stories of Rasheem Stirling and Kalvin Phillips put Taking the Knee into context - an act of his players that Gareth Southgate has very publicly defended and supported. Harry Kane has worn a rainbow armband during LGBTQ Pride and Jordan Henderson has shown very public solidarity with LGBTQ fans. These are men who genuinely make me proud to be English. This year it deserves to come home. These men make England a home worth coming to.
