Well big changes are in order soon! With the Windmill Bridge set to close there’s even more changes for TfL to ponder over now in addition to the upcoming Croydon Consultation in around Septemberish, what’s your views and ideas? I’d love to know! Don't see how the Windmill Bridge issue will come into it ... it is only temporary and will involve rerouting the 289 + 1 school route 689? My thinking is more where they will Reroute the 289. Cherry Orchard Road is already overbussed as it is. If I was TfL I’d reroute 312 up to Shirley Park and Addiscombe Road. But I know not everyone will agree with that. Also 689 goes via Cherry Orchard Road already.

Thee upcoming Consultation I’m referring to comes from the South Croydon Corridor concerning 166, 312, 455 and S4. I think a link was posted on a TfL consumer site?

SE152 is at PL as a float for the 493 moreover, the TC DW refurb process is in full swing with DW259/260/1/4/7/9271 having already been done. The 10/60 reg DW's are likely to follow

There are a lot of Suggestions for my (not-so-anymore) beloved 367. The timetable is very, very loose so most of these will not be a problem. The frequency is every 25 minutes so these will be reliable as well. 1.The most obvious one is if going to Bromley to change at East Croydon for the 119 (It saves a good 50 mins) 2. The Multiple Interchanges with the Tramlink all around the route These are; West Croydon/East Croydon/Addiscombe/Blackhorse Lane - Elmers End/Beckenham, NOTE: If alighting at Blackhorse lane you will have to walk a bit fast to get the 367 from the Parkview Road Stop. 3. The 289 from Addiscombe - Elmers End where you'll miss a good 20 mins of the route 4. The 162 is faster from Beckenham to Bromley and lest we forget 227. 5. The 358 from Elmers End Green will save you 20 mins as well. Thus the 367 is now USELESS thanks to Abellio which is why I want it to return to a normal service at a different company. Rant Over.

There has been 'yet another' stabbing at Church Street restricting most trams to East Croydon/Reeves Corner and creating a bit of congestion outside my local Lebanon Road. Trams were also terminating at Sandilands but this stopped.

As far as Metrobus goes they've lost so many routes in the last 4 years that you start to wonder. How? 614 and route 356 will be huge in determining whether Metrobus as a part of GAL will ever get a chance to mix in with the likes of Arriva and Abellio in the south for the foreseeable future. So do we think they could win anything in 614/8?

Am I right in thinking the 61 plate SEs are headed for the 455? Correct - the ex-413 vehicles from A as well as 4 from the D8 before it was given the horrible Scanias from C I believe for the rest of 2017 SOE's from 152 will be used on the route hence AF's WVLs appearing on the route. And the 4 extra buses will be WS's which are late

The K1 will only be for 2-3 months (it'll go just after 464 has been won)

After a part of the front door fell off on my R8 in Biggin Hill, I started chatting to the bus driver. She said that 12 Optare vehicles are arriving at Orpington (MB) garage for the R8, R4 and some other routes and that she was type trained this morning. They are longer than the 7.1m vehicles that are VOR at the moment. EDIT: I have a feeling she might've been confused with the Streetlite WS6 that's there for type training, sad though So it's Optares not streetlites even though WS's are being used for TT

How well it's been run doesn't seem to count for much unless bid prices are very close. There is a risk with change of Operator so will often stay even if bid marginally more than new alternative (usually recorded as incumbents good performance). Of course if different bidder seriously undercuts price the route changes hand. Do TfL still use that phrase ? I was under impression judging from recent changes that all that matters is cost? I'm still perplexed how Abellio have seemingly won awards based on a garage that hasn't been built let alone given planning permission Yes but bear in mind just how it works for 470. 1. Epsom is not that far from BC if you use A2022/22. Colliers Wood is just around the corner, if you use the 152 route. 2. BC drivers have experience in Colliers Wood, Morden, Sutton and Belmont areas. 3. As we have said high profile routes have been lost and space has been made
