I know people have spoken about gaps in service from various lines but honestly what is going on with the transport nowadays. You have the Jubilee, Northern and Central Line running on reduced times. The sub surface being a bit hit and miss. The Bakerloo Line 1972 stock on it's last legs. I honestly don't know how much longer they can hold out for before they fully give up the ghost. Shortage of trams. It really is a mess looking around and bus cuts all around to save money. Not to mention the increased 20mphs on the roads. Good grief Covid ought to have been the reset where public transport finally gets prioritised above all other modes but sadly we have people in charge only interested in either cycling or, as of recently, bowing to pressure from car owners.

Even yesterday the mayor refused to acknowledge the severe impact things like 20mph roads are having on the bus network.

This won't end well

Out of the Bakerloo, Piccadilly, Central and Waterloo & City line the Central and Waterloo & City lines have the youngest stock out them four now what if hyperactively the Central line got new trains and the 92 stock got moved to the Bakerloo Line? Could the 92 stock fit on the Bakerloo Line? And would it cut costs if they could go onto the Bakerloo Line? This is hypothetical I’m just hypothetically?

Doubt that could happen as the line would need major upgrades of signals etc as the Central Line trains run in automatic mode. I also don’t think it would be wise moving 30 year old trains which would still need to be eventually replaced.

Putting aside the Bakerloo Line senario I would've thought all ATO trains can be driven manually, particularly in cases of technical errors. The 95 stock were driven manually on the Northern Line from the late 1990s to around 2014 when phased conversion to ATO started. I understand the S stock are still manually driven on the sections of tracks shared with the Piccadilly Line's 73 stock, which due to the later's age still use the 'old skool' signals.

If I have read rightly (if not mentioned already) this weekend on the SSR trains will run a "Hammersmith & Upminster line" service ? This used to be the case but from feedback, the Hammersmith - Upminster via King’s Cross service was an absolute nightmare to run. C&H train operators aren’t trained to run on the Barking to Upminster section so a District train operator needs to take over at Barking. The Whitechapel arrangement is a little awkward for passengers but at least the service is less prone to collapse!

They must of done as ATO wasn't implemented from day one of the 1992 stock implementation according to Wikipedia and instead was rolled out later on in the 90's.

I’m glad the BTP have the balls to actually investigate this from the off rather than sit on the fence like the Met.

They can investigate, but as usual unless the courts are prepared to do anything many investigations and arrests are made worthless due to the justice system. In this case I doubt any crime has been committed, it would be more a case of breaching company rules.

Sometimes it isn’t about getting to court though, in this case it’s more of sending a message that whilst freedom of speech is more than acceptable it is a basic right but inciting hatred, supporting of a terrorist organisation and the demonisation of a group of individuals is not acceptable.
