I’m glad the BTP have the balls to actually investigate this from the off rather than sit on the fence like the Met. The railways would fall under the remit of the BTP rather than the Met

The railways would fall under the remit of the BTP rather than the Met Well aware, my point was that the Met officers stood by and watched this sort of inflammatory protesting happen on the streets during a march on Saturday subsequently acting retroactively. With antisemitic posters and jihad slogans being shouted out. At one point there were Taliban flags being waved in the crowds. Whereas the BTP launched an investigation as soon as it was bought to their attention.

No matter someone's views, this isn't something that should be chanted over a PA on a moving tube train where people are just minding their own business. I'm glad this is being investigated and from what I've seen in terms of the video I do hope the right action is taken from both a legal and employment viewpoint.

I am not sure any law has been breached, but if it is as it seems, then it is a conduct and disciplinary matter and something TfL need to take up.

Good news, I don’t think they deserve to be fired but a strong reminder of TfLs employment regulations should be given to all staff.

It's a good thing you included the web link in your post. Otherwise I would have had to ask you for the sauce.

Just read that poor poor woman absolutely mental that she was conscious through it all and survived , this is the reason why staff are needed on stations no matter how busy or not in a major city , staffed stations shouldn't be too much to ask for crazy .

Also apparently no one could figure out how to switch off power. Which in itself seems to be poor training

What a horrific incident and I saw something similar at Lewisham (platform 2) years ago, fortunately myself and others saw what happened and alerted the driver and the lady sustained only relatively minor injuries. Hopefully something can be done to prevent something like this happening again, sensors perhaps? I realise that staff can't be looking everywhere and something like this can happen in the blink of an eye. I can't imagine how the train driver must have felt when they found out what had happened although they were in no way to blame.

To update the control room software covering the SSR and Jubilee systems, they need to share around Neasden/Wembley. Control rooms will remain separate at Hammersmith and Neasden. Update is for forthcoming extension of CBTC to Preston Road, Harrow, East Putney, Barons Court

Dstock7080 not sure if you know but I figured your the best person to ask - is there a reason why there is a speed restriction on the Victoria Line for the past few months southbound only between Oxford Circus & Green Park?

20mph Implemented 20 April 2022 initially for a "broken sleeper-concrete" but this has been repaired
