Exactly what I proposed two years ago / have continued proposing, it's good that TFL have listened.

The 83 extension makes overall sense. Where does it stand at the moment now that ON is closed down?

This is interesting as there swapping the 79 and 83 as the Saintsbury is full I am still supice that they not extend 245 to Perivale Bus Garage to free up space

Exactly what I proposed two years ago / have continued proposing, it's good that TFL have listened. This replaces the withdrawn 224 link round the corner from Beresford Avenue to Wembley town centre. Presumably the provision of this bus service is being paid for by developer contributions so at no cost to TfL. Otherwise it might not have happened.

I like this idea and I think that they should go ahead with it. I thought that they going to extend the 83 but it makes more sense to extend the 79 instead and extend the 83 to Alperton Sainsbury’s since it already goes to stand at the new garage might as well make it go there officially.

I’m pretty sure the 83 has a stand next to Alperton Station and doesn’t run to the new garage

Good plan imo
Will need an extra bus to make sure the schedule is workable at x12 mins

Well they stood in the old garage before it got knocked down and I think they would sometimes run to new garage and stand there.

I think the 8 minute frequency of the 83 would be too frequent for the Stonebridge Park extension, the 12 minute frequency of the 79 probably matches the expected demand better.

Good proposal, as it reinstates that popular round the corner link from Mount Pleasant to Wembley previously served by the 224. And the 83 doesn't have to stand in that tiny forecourt anymore. Win win

I actually think it's not a bad idea though. Not for the sake of it just to be extended to the garage to free space but for the people in the area to get access to Alperton Sainsbury's. It's a decent link to the mini retail park near Western Avenue.
