Regardless of what you think, it's still embarrassing for RATP to not display the correct blinds! It's not that difficult. How do you know it’s not that hard do you work a bus company? I do not but it is 100% their fault. They should learn to be more organized

So 100% not their fault That makes total sense but that won't silence the experts! I did ask earlier about the 83 situation but never herd anything back so assume they don't have new blinds or they already had existing blinds that covered the extension.
The consultation only updated a month ago, I know the operator was probably told before this but still not much of a lead time. What people need to remember is London is pretty much the last place using traditional blinds so I imagine there has to be some preparation when the manufacturer receives such a bespoke order.

I didn’t manage to see the 83 today but the buses should have blinds as both 245 and 297 would have Alperton Sainsbury’s as a destination so would require a small programming, if 83s were not blinded correctly today that is shameful and as you can tell from my name I do like metroline. I do feel that objectivity is needed and I am not an argumentative person but I feel that being biased is not a helpful situation but I believe people should put their points across in a more polite and humane manner rather then being Sarcastic, passive aggressive or extremely blunt. It would be nice if people could share their passion for buses in a friendly manner. If metroline did not blind 83 correctly today it is shameful, maybe more so then RATP not blinding 79s as the 83 buses definitely have Alperton Sainsburys on their blind set but Stonebridge Park is a new destination unless as I mentioned in a previous comment and got no reply that if the 79s VH have 18 blinds then Stonebridge Park should be on their blindset. Although I’m replying to this comment regarding whether 83 being blinded correctly. The point about manners etc is a general one and not aimed specifically at the member who’s point I am quoting.

I do appreciate everything you say in your post. I do find it a little frustrating then when several people think and post similar as me regarding a certain Issue (RAPT Bashing) that my post is the one that's used as a example about manners. It does happen a lot but on this occasion I will except it was not intentionally aimed at me.
I think the reason people have been replying in the manner they have is out of sheer frustration then the person person posting just won't ever take on board whats said to them.
Thank you for explaining the blind situation at Metroline. I assume if the front blinds can be reprogrammed new side blinds would be needed and would show blanks until fitted, this is assuming they haven't been done.

I'll be honest, I was being lazy as I wanted to reply regarding the 83 blinds and couldn't be bothered to make a seperate post regarding my other point. My intention was not to make an example using your post, if you feel it was the case I apologise

I look at the stand space at Alperton Sainsbury’s and think how do they expect 3 routes to terminate there and stand there. The stand is tiny. It’s lucky that ON is right round the corner for the 83 and 245 to stand in but not all 83s and 245s stand in it.
