Here's my list to start the thread off: - Any NBfL routes - No explanation needed. - Most SD routes - I prefer DDs a lot more than SDs. SDs are kind of boring, but some routes are quite interesting and fun. - Most Metrobus routes - Mainly because I don't like the bus types. Of course, I'll use it if I need to. But I hardly go through the areas where they are present anyway (i.e. Bromley, Croydon, Catford). - Omnicitys - I'm sure most people here know that I don't like these buses due to their rock-hard seats. - Far-East London routes - I hardly even venture to East London, mainly because it's a little harder for me to get back home (in South London) without having to take the tube. For example, if I were to come back home from Stratford the quickest way I can get back home is by taking the 108, which is prone to traffic around the Blackwall Tunnel and Bow (as well as me not being too fond of SD routes ). Anyway...now it's your move, members of TBF!

The 365 towards in between Ford Road and Orchard Village after the Brittons Academy students come out of school. It is total hell...

Instead of clogging up the Stagecoach thread, here is a good place to air our views
As much as a members views may irritate us, we have to respect it, but also be mindful of someone's age and experience with the comments they make!
I shall start off and say I dislike the Scanias, I think they look ugly!
Using route 192 annoys me as I've changed my job in the last few weeks and I get the 192 to Angel Road/Tottenham Hale, however THREE times last week no bus turned up for 30mins and I was either late for work or had to make last minute diversions to avoid missing my train! I understand that last Tuesday, the A406 was buggered because of and accident by Cooks Ferry overpass, but that doesn't explain even longer gaps on other days!
Rant over haha

WL's 54-Reg Volvos - They look ugly, most of them are awful! (9001 I am looking at you) and they're not really comfortable buses. But I go on them regardless simply because I need to get from A to B.
I also like to avoid route 53 most of the time because it's always overcrowded and there is a less chance of you getting a seat.

I dislike the unrefurbished Enviro 400's on the 466, they are very tatty and worn down. I tend to avoid them unless its T64. Thankfully they are receiving a refurb, so i can stop avoiding them

Before I state mine, I'd like to say that I don't purposely avoid any of the following:
NBfL's - don't like nothing about them except the ride
Abellio's B7TL's (despite them having my favourite gearbox) - sound clapped out and are gutless
BN's & N's 54 reg VLA's - gutless pieces of rubbish. At least they are ok comfort wise
BN's 05 reg VLA's - gutless pieces of rubbish. At least they are ok comfort wise
Enviro 200's on Allison pre Euro VI - find them so boring on Allison, at least Euro VI seems to have made them more interesting
Euro V Enviro 400H's - I find the motor noise dreadfully boring and that's if the bus is going fast enough to reach that point
The 109 - seems to attract the most horrid people from Lambeth & Croydon and is such a slog
The 157 - just too unreliable. I've suffered this route for so long

Some of you probably know by now my extreme hate for the Optare Versa, but I have no option, I'm lumbered with them on the 62 I dislike most routes operated by BE as their service barely ever leaves me leaving a bus happy

VLPs when I need to take the 183. Well, if an SP route throws a non SP bus at me, I tend to wait for the SP! ;D Generally, Hail-and-Ride routes (I tend to avoid these when going on bus journeys, I braved it today and took the 192!). I'm not too big on single deckers either, but when I need them I'll happily take them. I try to avoid taking the bus when school children are about having just finished school! Noisy and feeding on fried chicken ! Route 97 Ask me a year ago and I'd have said that I would avoid ALX400s of any type !!

Some more to add to my list: - Route 23 - Every single time I board this bus, the ride to painfully slow. Apart from one time last summer when I got a VN from Ladbroke Grove (had the cooling fan too ). I miss the TNs too - Route 53 - Same reasons as 'ob1234'. I usually tend to get the empty 453. I also prefer getting a 180 over this route when coming to/from Plumstead (because those VWLs are one of the best buses around). - Route 171 - I don't really avoid this route, but whenever I need to quickly get to Waterloo, I chose the 172 simply because the 171 takes about an hour to get there from my house. Other than that, I love this route and it's buses! Ever since the early 2000s when I was young(er). Back then the single door DDs on the 261 and the yellow and blue livery never really did it for me. Plus, they're choice of body types aren't the best. I mean...look at the Omnidekka. It's ugly!

Here is what I would normally avoid, but still would take them if I have to one day:
NBfL - don't bother asking, won't explain anyway
BN's 55reg VLAs (annoying old spazzam attacks!!! Thanks goodness VLA161 has no more spazzam attacks, is 153 and 157 loud still? They make an annoying racket like DWS7)
AL's DWs - Cba to explain
BC's Darts - I always ride them nontheless I get from A to B. I don't like them at all costs, especially those 54regs (I get a weird feeling and not comfortable ride-wise, but the 05reg are much better and comfortable to me). At one point, 8029 had screaming breaks when climbing up Robson Road. 8025 followed suit but now seems to have looked decently good for both.
Any non-06reg WVL on 68/468/X68 - don't ask me why ------------------------------------------------- So far this is what I'd avoid

Glad I'm not alone for hating Arriva's 08-reg Ts! The ones at AD are in a real state too, thankfully they're getting refurbed. Stuff I definitely avoid: Any bus operating out of, on loan to/from and bearing the code of Helloway garage. Stuff I try to avoid: Any bus serving a large school community between 3-4 09-reg Scania OmniCities. The only exception to this rule of avoidance would be SP39, which is the best Euro IV SP ever (because of its brilliant refurb) R70 towards Hampton after a big day out because I don't want to walk as much after a long day Any bus going to Croydon Town Centre NB4Ls during the summer; not that I've had much of a choice this summer, as Putney Bridge has been shut . Still now I know no AF route is getting LTs in the foreseeable future The K1, takes 15-20 mins to do a 7-8 min journey Sitting on modular seats on the E400 Arriva buses which have Ciclo seating, unless recently refurbished/repadded That said, the stuff above (bar the stuff about HT) I don't actively avoid, and if I had to I would catch
