I meant specifically newer LTs, such as Stagecoach's ones and the few times I've been on a 38. I have had Air Con problems on a 38, was sitting through such a lengthy diversion on a black Adidas bus on a sunny day. Never again I want that experience. Stagecoach LTs aren't also wonderful in terms of air con, I wasn't sweating to death in one, but it felt so stuffy. I admit it's not great but it's at least bearable.

Was going to say about the 38 as my mum complained about them being too hot and no opening windows on a journey from Islington Angel to Mare Street, Hackney Central not too long after they were fully introduced this year.

On a trip to Holborn yesterday with the GF, two turned up at Graham Road on the 38 we let them both pass and waited an additional 3 mins for a VLW on the 242 and I hate arrivas VLWs, dull buses!! but better than an LT. Theres one thing travelling to west end on a slow DB300 but on a slow what ever you want to call it with that dull interior and then some no thank you. I take back previous comments about DW411 and private hire of LT's ... Someone must have been playing with the blinds at Heysham Docks before it returned to Enfield the other day That elusive DW411, been trying to catch that bugger!. I only ever saw it once which was on the 41 I think, can't find it in the LVF database. What route is it on now?

What route is it on now? she was last out on the 349, had a late night and got home to Enfield at 1:30 this morning... just surprised she managed a whole day She must be wiped out, especially from that epic thrash from Lancashire, and has gone to bed... Perhaps Enfield Garage are teasing us, lol

My trainer at Golds Gym said that if I can't get to use the sauna at Hanwell if too busy, to take a ride on an LT its whole route in summer or autumn to help me open those pores and detoxify See its not just Daimler fixation you get from me, but fitness tips too

This confirms the new design for the gemini 3 aswell as the streetdeck taken from wrightbus website www.wrightbusinternational.com/datasheets/euro6productrange.pdfGemini 3A shared look with a trusted partner. The StreetDeck shares the new frontal styling with the revised Gemini 3 double deck, which continues to be available at Euro 6 with the Volvo B5TL (diesel) chassis and the Volvo B5LH (hybrid chassis). As well as giving the double deck range added street appeal, the new styling gives enhanced driver visibility with a wrap around screen, combined with a re-designed signalling window. The new design also allows the windscreen wiper spindles to be protected, as well as improved accessibility through the centre panel to the demister and water fill. With LED lights now as standard giving a more ‘car-like’ look to the vehicle, the re-styled grill also gives operators greater flexibility for application of livery and route branding

I'm still a bit skeptical about the Streetdeck... Also I think Wrightbus has missed a trick here with the Streetvibe, I feel they should of made the length start from 7.8m or 7.1m so that it can compete alongside the Optare Solo. 8.8m - 9.5m is not as competitive in my opinion.

Definitely doesn't look as good as the current Gemini 3

ouch my eyes!! Looks even worse than the drawings Only sort of positive thing I could say is the B5TL looks far more proportioned than the Streetdeck does - still two horrific looking vehicles though.
