REMINDER - on ITV1 at 2030 this evening for the first episode featuring Arriva London. Also on ITV+1 later on. Rumours that Connor is hyperventilating at the prospect of endless DLA Trainer shots on this programme have not been confirmed.

Just sat down at the telly and seen 30 seconds of DLAs already. I suspect an ambulance is on its way to SE London. EDIT Ooh Totteham Garage Ooh Tottenham Hale Ooh Lea Bridge Road "What's a bus lane for?" "Come on get it to 40 mph" (DLA176) SECOND EDIT Ooh Norwood Garage Ooh Edmonton (?) Garage Ooh zillions of DLAs and decaying buses.

You don't shout and yell at passengers and drivers like that no matter what the provocation is. Plain unacceptable and doesn't say much for his underlying temperament.

Sadly he probably played right into the producers hands who no doubt encouraged him.

I found it a good watch, really hope that woman can calm her nerves as once she got going, she wasn't too bad a driver.

It was a good show but I wish it was longer than 30 minutes. It does remind me of my times when I was learning to drive a bus. I felt really pleased when Yas passed his test but I was shocked when they showed us the few clips of him arguing with the passengers and other drivers. I was pretty shocked when he told one of the passengers that he's holding the bus up. But I have to admit that there have been times when I really wanted to say to some passengers that your holding he bus up As for Claire, I was similar when I drove the bus for the every first time. I had no idea about the brakes and the retarder and I was bewildered that a bus could still move even though I'm pressing the brakes. At the time, I only just passed my car test and applied to be a bus driver a few months after! Yes, I do know that we should have at least one year of driving on the road before applying to drive a bus Anyway, I did have that moment when I said to myself 'What am I doing?!' Also interesting to see her driving in and around the Beddington Farm and Valley Park areas. The Zebra crossing incident is directly opposite Therapia Lane Tram Stop.

It was a good show, a shame to see DW3 in bits (in one of the shots)... and I'm sure I still saw DLA291 still at Norwood Will definitely watch the next one, but 30 minutes is too short

I'm just catching up with the first half of the programme. Some of the comments from the instructors are priceless "you're going to tell me that road hump just jumped out into the road" "trust me luv you don't want to be on here" to someone who sticks their hand out for a trainer bus. "He's a nice chap, he buys me chocolate bars. Doesn't work!" about Yas. "You can't turn right, you can't turn right, directions aren't your strong point" You clearly have to have a certain temperament to be an instructor. I'm sure I recognise the chap training Yas in North London. Might have worked on one of my local Arriva run routes at some point. Would I be correct in guessing that the incident where the car comes round that tight bend on completely the wrong side of the road is near Reeves Corner in Croydon?
