My adventures will be along later, but for now here's what I saw at Red Lion Square (Holborn): I would've certainly got on the 25 just to ride that Metrobus! Meanwhile I'm stuck on LT184 on the 10 which is surprisingly cool! One of the better LT journeys of recent

Respect to all bus drivers today, especially on the 25. I did not even see one empty seat on any 25 all day!
Im sure Customer Assistants and bus drivers had a load of 'Do you go...' questions.

It wasn't that bad for me travelling in and out from work to home by bus. The City was noticeably much quieter than usual. The 205s seemed be to struggling a lot, lots of curtailments to Old Street during the day.

Just spoke to a 205 driver - he got hammered all day long - he said people were avoiding the non London buses not really sure if they could board them.

More from me later, but for now here's what I saw at Red Lion Square (Holborn): It's nice to know that a MK1 MCW Metrobus is still alive. Someone should make a New Metrobus. Optare misheard and made the MetroDecker You can't beat the Metrobus, though I felt sorry for the ones in later years struggling on the hills on the 468 Love that Daily Smash article. TBH there is not a great deal to driving trains now, even the old Victoria Line trains were automatic where the driver just pressed a button, but had to be there in case of having to override the thing in an emergency. Apparently BoJo said the new Picadilly line trains will be automated, and should start production by next year. I think things are supposed to be back to normal by tomorrow... something tells me that there will be another strike soon if their (unreasonable ) demands are not met soon

Oh no, I don't think I'll cope with the crowds in Elham and Lyminge. Hang on, yes I will. Moz Are you doing the lovely scenic route 17? Was. Got bumped up to Gold 16s on Folkestone - Canterbury shorts. Nice! Moz

It's nice to know that a MK1 MCW Metrobus is still alive. Someone should make a New Metrobus. They did - the DAF / VDL DB250 and then the VDL DB300. You could, at an absolute stretch, perhaps infer the Wright Streetdeck is the next in the line although the DB300 can still be supplied AIUI (one went to KMB in Hong Kong). Technically, the Optare Spectra is the successor body wise to the MCW Metrobus as Optare brought the blueprints & plans to the MCW Metrobus and developed the Spectra from there. But yes, chassis wise, the DAF DB250 high floor is also the successor.
