I've read sections of this book that are of interest to me and it is very interesting. I would like to read the whole book but at the moment I don't have time and it depends if my dad has them in stock because of the price and specialised subject doesn't appeal to every London enthusiast and sales have been slow compared to other books that have came out lately.

I'm after some information about the NRMs. 1. The Saturday and Sunday PVRs for route 73 and 453 2. The start date of NRMs on the 73. I've already looked on the two main London bus route websites and I can't find them on there, thanks in advance. I have ploughed through umpteen TLBs to see if the PVR for the 73 was updated / confirmed upon LT conversion but I can't see any statement. My database, which I can't vouch as being up to date, has the Sat / Sun PVR for the 73 as 37 /33 but don't ask me to swear to it in court. I had 23 and 17 for the same days for the 453 but same comment applies as for the 73 re accuracy. Thank you very much and a merry Christmas to you!

So I suppose they might be Euro 6 now? No...still Euro V, as far as I'm aware. If they do become Euro VI, it'll probably be done after 118's contract is finished. The only way to upgrade to euro 6 is a complete new engine and exhuast system. The euro 5 and Euro 6 engines are completely different other than the main block of the engine.

I hate to burst your bubble but the RFs on the 108 are doing shorts from Stratford to North Greenwich. My dad is driving one of the RMs on the 277 and says the RFs are coming from London Bus Company.

12271 has returned after its accident in Sydenham last year. The fleet number on the front nearside is in a different font.

Bearing in mind all companies will need you to be at least 24 before they even let you get behind the wheel of a bus. You can get a CPC qualification but even then some companies will consider you too underage. Your wrong with 24. When I was training for go ahead it was a minimum of 2 years driving experience and no more than 6 points in your license, which means you can be a minimum of 19 before you can drive a bus. After driving buses for just over 2 years in london, I would suggest you try and get work in a shop dealing with the public as they are the most awkward, unhelpful and stupid people to try and deal with, they also don't listen to a word you say. That way you can make you mind up if it is the right career path for you and don't forget you have to deal with other road users who are just as bad as the public.

17427 hasn't seen service since the 5th December 2014 Well of course because 10198-10205 are replacing the Euro 2 Buses, 17466, 17505, 17487 are also gone. Saw 17505 earlier in the week with no blind probably heading to WH or RM. Only 17441, 17478, 17503, 17506 left from what I have seen. I saw 3 of 4 today and had 17503 on the 136 earlier. They have gone to WH to begin with and 17503 went with 17487 today.

I saw LT297 in service yesterday on the 453 and it's fleet letters/logo are white instead of Go-Ahead's normal blue, yellow and white. They look odd and I wonder why there has been a change?

I would have thought there was a practical time limit, once a year has gone by, ought to be fixed, or if not then someone should be paying out for a replacement. I do wonder if ownership has gone to Wrights (I suspect DW411 also has been sold to Wrights, with it being loaned back as a demonstrator / development bus). Lets be real if you don't set a time limit, could leave it languishing for a few years before returning it repaired. Yes I would have thought that there would be some sort of time limit but as far as I'm aware there has been no official announcement about it one way or another Does anyone know if a report about the crash has been released/published?
