Yeah that is true! The Northern Line could approach and speed much faster. But I think that Line is ok, just needs adjustments, like any other line!! ding, dong! This is Goodge Street This train terminates at Mill East Hill This train is ready to depart, please mind the door ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, (doors closed) The reason why I choosed Goodge Street is because my dad use to work on Tottenham Street (opposite Habitat and Heals) that road! - Is the Northern Line the only line to announce "This train is ready to depart, please mind the doors" without the driver having to say it? I must give credit to the Northern Line for the way how Kennington and Camden Town Stations platforms are like! BTW: I heard that there was alot of proposals for Northern Line! Like an extension from Mill Hill East and Edgware + Finsbury Park! Do you guys know where these extensions would have gone? Finally I heard that one time they wanted to extend the Central Line from West Ruslip to Denham! Is this true and where is Denham? Denham is the next stop up the line from West Ruislip, very handy it would have been for the Alexander Korda film studios. Now youngman I suggest you Google and enter norther line-northern height' you'll be surprised what you'll find. Also Capital Transport have an excellent book about the Northern Line north of Edgware. Clue-What was Aldenham originally intended for?One very ambitious plan in the early 1900s, was to extend the Metropolitan Railway to Oxford!! This would have happened via Verney Junction and Banbury. Oh ok, so it was true that years ago the Northern Line had proposals of extending the line from Mill Hill East to the edgware Branch via Mill Hill, exteding from Edgware to Bushey Heath and another one was an extension from Highgate to Alexandra Palace! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_LineOh ok! Thx's for the Denham Info and the additional about the Metropolitan!!!

Have you realized on:
1.) The central line when leaving Bethnal Green, the sharp turn before saying the next station is Mile End, change here for the District & Hammersmtih & City Lines. That has been smoothen. Also the line does not shake as much. Plus its less louder
2.) The piccadilly line goes about 5/ 8 mph slower between Hammersmith & Acton Town
3.) The Victoria Line between Kings Cross & Seven Sisters. The line does not really bounce as much.
WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU PEOPLE REALIZED ON THE LONDON UNDERGROUND???

Apparently the "underground" extension to Croydon will run via forest hill, sydenham etc, which is meant to be part of the "overground" line, but to me this seems pointless - since the national rail services already follows a similar route - does anyone else feel that TFL should have extended the Victoria line from Brixton into Croydon, thus providing an underground link to one of the more populated Southern London areas, unlike Morden! I do beleive as well that the Victoria Line should extend from Brixton. I was thinking about extending to Gatwick to allow another alternative instead of the Gatwick Express or National Rail. But obviously it will lead to financial difficulties!!! I like the proposed Norhen Line extension to Sutton. At least it has a LU line serving it and hopefully if the Croydon Tam extends to Sutton. It will develop Sutton Town Centre and create more connections! I do find the extension of the Est London Line to Croydon a bit strange, following the National Rail line. I would have been better if the line extended from New Cross Gate to Croydon calling at Deptford Bridge, Lewisham, Rushy Green, Catford Garage, Beckenham Hill, Beckenham Road, Penge Pawleyne Arms, Anerley, Anerley Hill, Crystal Palace.

oh yes it does. Definely no average speed lol! It is just like the Victoria Line. It approaches alot of station fast
Central Line -MILE END -BETHNAL GREEN -CHANCERY LANE -HOLBORN -TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD -OXFORD CIRCUS -BOND STREET -MARBLE ARCH -LANCASTER GATE -HOLLAND PARK -GREENFORD
The fast parts now! -Epping - Debden -Buckhurst Hill - Snaresbrook -Stratford - Liverpool Street -Saint Pauls - Lancaster Gate -Notting Hill Gate - Holland Park -North Acton - West Ruslip ---- beats cars on the dual carriaway lol =50mph on it
Victoria Line Most stations I do admit. But because central line has too many sharp turns like
-coming from bethnal green to mile end, there use to be one big sharp turn, then the speakers comes on saying, the next station ....
-Bank sections- wow! turns (loud init lol)
-Saint Pauls (2 turns before station towards it)
-Notting Hill Gate Station
-Shepards Bush (the weirdest station. It is soo small)
-Shepards Bush - White City (those bends are too sharp. God knows how they make tracks like that lol)
The Metropolitan Line I like as well. Speed! Those trains are good though !!
But the slowest lines are: -DISTRICT -HAMMERSMITH & CITY -BAKERLOO -EAST LONDON -CIRCLE
The waterloo and city is a nice route. It sounds exactly like the Central & it looks the same, apart from the arm rest. That should be the same with the Central Line isn't it lol?
The Piccadilly Line is a fab route. Heathrow section i like when it comes up in the middle of the dual carriageway lol. I absolutely love the bit between Hammersmith - Acton Town. Excellent. That line is enjoyable.
The DLR. I like it. It goes reasonable in the tunnels. It should extend into Central London proper, since it has a tunnel. Probably join with waterloo & city and go Waterloo, then like Oxford Circus via Charing Cross & Piccadilly, That would be good!

I believe the Central, Metropolitan, DLR, Victoria & Piccadilly are the top 5 fastest. Not in this order though
