Hopefully they will bring some improvements to the area and its good to see the road is remaining open.

May as well use this thread for Regent Street rather than open a new thread. As some of you may not, the first phase of consultation (very broad stroke ideas phase) happened last year for Regent Street. The report is now out, along with a timeline on page 38. We'll get a clearer idea on plans for the street in September of this year when another phase of engagement will happen. Details of street layouts and movement options will be released as part of that.
Importantly, the scope of the project has been expanded from just Regent Street as far north as the BBC to include Regent Street St. James’s, Waterloo Place, Haymarket, Charles II, Jermyn Street East and Pall Mall East.

It's entirely possible that there'll be no major changes to bus routes. Certainly, full pedestrianisation on the 'main' section of Regent Street looks unlikely though I suspect the one way system formed by Haymarket, Pall Mall and Regent Street St. James is the most likely to see some major changes.
