Don't forget about the strikes though. Monday 6th isn't a strike day but the morning service will be disrupted from the day before.

Out of curiosity I used Bond Street this morning to change from the Elizabeth Line to the Jubilee Line to get to my final destination Baker Street. What a pain that was though, I had to go up an escalator, walk down a long corridor then down another escalator. Tomorrow morning I will be going back to change at Farringdon, which is up a long then a short escalator across the street to pick up my free cappuccino via my Pret subscription then down the stairs onto the Met/Circle/H&C platform. going via Farringdon is 10 minutes quicker too.
Don't get me wrong though Bond Street is a good alternative if the Met/Circle/H&C is shut down, which I find out by the excellent display information screens on the Elizabeth Line.
Also noticed after the train left TCR it was virtually empty.

It would mean longer journeys at Liverpool St, going down to the platforms and then an additional station being Whitechapel. Plus further disruption due to the western end of the line.

Try running up Farringdon or Liverpool Street escalators and you would see what I mean.

Exciting π So if on a Heathrow/Reading train, it would not be worth changing at Paddington for a faster journey, I guess the same for Heathrow or Slough? But going to Reading I would have thought it would be beneficial to change at Reading? I wonder for stations between Slough and Maidenhead if it would be worth changin?

With Platform space going to be freed up at Liverpool Street and Paddington.
By Western Region and East Anglos have many branch lines, I wonder if it is possible to bring these into London.
For Liverpool Street.
Southminster Harwich Sudbury Lowestoft Bury St Edmunds
For Paddington
Greenford Henley Marlow Windsor &;Eton Newbury (Reading terminators) Basingstoke

I presume youβre directing that at vjaska, and not me? Because thereβs precisely zero point in me changing at Paddington to get to Ealing unless I happen to have caught a Paddington terminator train.

Others I'm hearing additional space will be created for the May 2023 timetable as TfL requested space provision for increasing the Southbury loop lines frequency.
