Not sure if it’s a result of the Elizabeth Line now gong underground at Liverpool Street but I’m seeing a lot of London Overground services for Chingford terminating at Platform 14-17. May just be because of match day? EDIT: Stansted Airport trains also using platforms normally used for Elizabeth Line. Apparently, other services will be using those platforms outside of peak hours now that most services will serve the underground station instead

There are two morning peak workings inbound and two evening peak workings outbound, both around 30 minutes apart. Some early morning/late night trains also terminate/start at the main line station. The two evening trains will at least provide useful extra capacity at Stratford if trains are coming from the Central Core heavily loaded. Some people "in the know" may also aim for these trains at Liverpool Street to be sure of getting a seat. I suppose there will be capacity to operate a limited service into the main line station in emergencies.

3 diversions this morning into LST high level from Shenfield, looks like they wouldn't accept the central section signalling, as they had delay at Stratford Station in attempting transition. Otherwise looked ok on the western end. Probably not a bad first morning really.

Train disruption continues despite cancelled strikes Most rail services continue to be disrupted on Monday despite a series of planned strikes being called off.www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-63522511

Complete mess this evening, two Shenfield trains were apparently coming at once and an Abbey Wood train behind the pair turned up first. Notably Abbey Wood services were operating as planned, but it was the Shenfield ones that were up the wall.

Hardly conclusive but a work colleague used the Elizabeth line today and said hardly anyone left the train at Stratford instead carrying on to central London. He said the Central Line looked much quieter.
Can imagine today has been a game changer for lots of commuters.
Feels strange to think I can catch one train from my local station to Reading! Only 20 years ago all we had was the North London Line and DLR.

Which platform and station was it for the both Shenfield trains to come at once. I know on the Central line, two Ealing Broadway trains can come at once using two different platforms (i.e from Hainault and from Epping)

There were probably operating problems at the Paddington turnback which were screwing up the real-time predictions.
