Not quite sure how England managed to blow that lead, that said England had chances to secure a few more goals which didn't materialise.

The striker was clever, but if that was a Pen then we should have had one for Kane been hauled to the ground.
Despite the result, the performance has been a bit promising.

It was a definite penalty - Walker elbowed the player and really should of been in a better position. As much as I dislike Kane a lot, he should of had arguably had two penalties but thankfully, they weren’t given lol. Performance wise, it’s been 50/50 - good for the first 36 minutes but after Tunisia equalised, it’s become very lacklustre.

Very lucky England - quite a lacklustre performance and scraped a goal against an average team.
Certainly, Rashford should play ahead of Sterling as Sterling is extremely overrated.

The correct result in the end ;-)
I liked Rashford's influence too. Kane I did think was a bit quiet, minus the two goals ;-)

Kane I did think was a bit quiet, minus the two goals ;-) Rashford & Loftus-Cheek should start the next game - both brought much needed energy and direct running. Remove the overrated Sterling and maybe drop Ali given he picked up an injury - should be an easy win against Panama before Belgium come and put England in their place

Granted, I only saw the highlights but England created a number of good chances and should have had a penalty. As far as I’m concerned Harry Kane can go to sleep on the touchline if he wants as long as he pops up to nick a goal or two like he did today
Its difficult to base much on highlights of a game but I’m encouraged that we created chances. We'll very much need to do the same on Sunday against Panama as we'll need to at least match Belgium’s three goals. Unusually for me as an England supporter in a major tournament, I’m quite confident about our chances against Panama and that collection of talented individuals Belgium pretend is a team 😉

England should beat Panama fairly easily unless they play like they did against Tunisia and whilst I agree that Belgium are just bunch of individuals rather than a team (blame the managers for that, for years they keep trying to slot all the best players in on paper rather than what actually makes the team tick), I still fancy them to beat England & top the group. If that happens, be prepared to possibly face the dangerous Colombia team

Always good to win the opening game, something Brazil,Argentina and Germany haven't managed! Fans seem to have been made very welcome with none of the problems that had been forecast so far, the only problem seems to be the midges!
