Just passing Cromwell Road twice tonight and things have improved since I was last there two weeks ago. Surfacing is done, lines are being painted and the containers in the former 406/418 overflow have all been removed. I’d say at this rate it will be a mid-November opening. Great to hear. I will be glad to see the back of the stupid decision to have the 57/131/213 skip the temporary stops!!!! Surrey County Council seems to be anticipating it opening this Saturday - www.surreycc.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/buses-and-other-transport/bus-timetable-changes/forthcoming-changes

Those stops have caused massive issues with traffic along Cromwell Road, so having those 3 routes skip them was quite a smart idea in my opinion, and I would have advocated more routes skipping them too. The only issue that the bus station reopening causes is that every Kingston route is now going to stop tracking (because of the cyber attack) as they will be getting new timetables, which will cause major issues.

To add to this, I reckon it will open this weekend or early next week. Having passed it earlier today, everything is as good as complete - nearly all of the signage is up with the covers removed, and the site is pretty much cleared of any equipment.

I was about to post the exact same, having passed it this morning it looks lovely and finished.

Although the 465 has its one stated as 16th November I’m going to split the difference and say Saturday November 9th. Just walking past this morning whilst waiting for someone and the final signage is going up with just the timetables to slip into the stops. There are even plants on the roof already. At this point I’d say it is 97% ready.

I walked past there yesterday and some of the signage seemed to be incorrect, so may need replacing. Specifically signage regarding the 461 stated that the Sunday service was run by hallmark when it has been operated by Falcon bus for over a year now. Even then, hallmark was renamed Diamond south east over 3 years ago...

Looks like it will be the 16th as the wording changed from "465 - Timetable revised for potential re-opening of Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston-upon-Thames." to "465 - Timetable revised for re-opening of Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston-upon-Thames." The notice on the route pages on bustimes.org also states the temporary stopping arrangements are only until 15th November.

Just saw BCE47030 and an unidentified TUK Electroliner parked in the 406/418's parking spaces inside the bus station. The bus station seems to be 100% complete now, but the bus stops on Cromwell Road are being resurfaced by the looks of it.

Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston will reopen on Saturday 16 November following a rebuild which will improve accessibility, safety and the customer experience.
