In Chislehurst, the 61s and R7s are very literal-minded. They see "Loop Road and promptly do a loop.
If you have nothing to write on, you could always try the B14 hail-and-ride. It allows you to write on a hill, so long as you have a pen...
A 129 driver is talking to a 386 driver. The 129 driver says: "I see these trees are getting in the way of the top deck. Is there anything I can do about them?" The 386 driver says: "Well, you could always burn 'em." The 129 driver promptly burns down the trees, leaving behind ash. "Job done", say the drivers, as they go to sleep. Then, the N199 driver takes over and is horrified. In an act of revenge, the driver plants a grove.

This is more of a rail joke, but relates to London and will please Jimi Hendrix fans.
What's the difference between the Hayes stations in south east London/Kent and west London/Middlesex?
Hayes & Harlington is a Purple Hayes!!

This is more of a rail joke, but relates to London and will please Jimi Hendrix fans. What's the difference between the Hayes stations in south east London/Kent and west London/Middlesex? Hayes & Harlington is a Purple Hayes!! "...Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me..." (Cannot describe in words the guitar pyro-technics that follows this line) A tenuous Hendrix link to transportation: Hendrix is laid to rest in his home town Renton, that's a suburb of Seattle and also where the world's most populous airliner (Boeing 737) is final-assembled.
