Ryze Hydrogen founded by Jo Bamford to produce hydrogen in Kent is supposed to be in full production but can't find this confirmed. This was supposed to provide Metroline with consistent supplies.
I see that that route 7 is back to a full hydrogen allocation.

"Hydrogen Buses: It is reported that Alexander Dennis are not making any more hydrogen buses, due to being too complicated. Stagecoach has parked their ten ‘23 plate’ buses at the rear of Gillmoss Depot on the scrap line." Taken from bus news what were their reg’s? I can’t even find any pictures of these stagecoach hydrogen buses, only the demo at the expo. Did they even enter service? The 10 Stagecoach Merseyside ones haven't entered service, however one or two of the other 10 identical ones with Arriva Merseyside have, indeed 4905 has been out this week on one morning return trip from St Helens to Liverpool and back. Here's a shot of one of the Stagecoach ones parked up at Gillmoss a while back.... www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/53187699826HTH

The Hydroliners at Metrobus Crawley have been pulled from service (not sure why) and are having Brighton & Hove deckers covering these services

Taken from bus news Same source from today: "It was reported in Bus News>Flash (8th March) that Alexander Dennis were not making any more hydrogen buses. This information came from a reliable source and was published in good faith. Since then, Alexander Dennis have confirmed that this report was inaccurate and that the Enviro400FCEV remains on offer to interested customers."

The Hydroliners at Metrobus Crawley have been pulled from service (not sure why) and are having Brighton & Hove deckers covering these services Several back in service today. Incidentally, today's Bus News also mentioned Metrobus Crawley and prompted me to discover where their information was sourced from... It appears the authority to grant Hazardous Substances Consent (with regard to the handling of hydrogen at the depot) lies with Crawley Borough Council. As the relevant Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) competent authority, the Health & Safety Executive have advised against the granting of HSC and if desired can have an inspector meet with the council to explain their technical / risk assessment in more detail. If the council choose to grant consent anyway, the HSE should have 21 days for further consideration and can ask the DLUHC to call it in. Planning Application - CR/2022/0281/HAZ, or search for the ref here if the direct link doesn't work - the HSE letter (dated 18 March 2024) is available in PDF format on the Supporting Documents tab.

I wonder what would happen in the event that the hydrogen fuelling station cannot be installed? Can ZEBRA buses just be moved around?

It's been advised that their award is conditional on the facility going ahead or not ( tangytango.proboards.com/post/803864/thread)

On that note, a 24-reg demonstrator was on display at the ADL open day in Farnborough yesterday. (EDIT - Just checked BLOTW and there are two unregistered demonstrators built in 2022/23 listed; it may actually be one of those.)
