A rare working diesel bus happened on 19785 on the 26 yesterday evening. Was it actually observed? Bustimes.org has it on both the D7 and 26 yesterday evening so there must be a fault in the system somewhere. Yeah it was.

Since most of the 135's batch has returned from being refurbished, it seems as though the strays of Evoseti's has heavily gone down. The route seems to remain more constant in using Gemini 3's.

Thats true, but there were even times when there would be like 5-7 on the route, nowadays there are like 2-3. Still a bit of a difference.

I always doubt if the refurbishment has an impact, as they're only doing it one at a time (13125 is currently off for refurb, with 13121 back last week). I think it's more down to LI's own flexibility on allocations. Conversely, there's occasionally one or two of the G3s straying onto the 308.

Copying my reply to this into the Stagecoach thread. Yes, because it could not take double deckers, they had only go to one side of the pits/workshop area. The majority of the garage was outside parking. Then after a few amount of the garage pits and admin block area was slightly built over. It was a very basic yard I worked at SD from 1994 to 1999 and it was a lot of fun. During that time it went from being extremely basic to almost acceptable and it was probably the friendliest garage I ever worked at. A piece of land was secured across the road from SD for car parking because basically there was nowhere at all for drivers to park their cars which inevitably got used for bus parking - I remember a bunch of MRLs were kept running in the car park from Xmas Eve to Boxing Day as there would be no engineer on duty to get them started on 26th. Eventually we went from renting part of the site to the whole site which meant that buses were parked at night all around the perimeter of the warehouse. When the 30 was allocated initially with Titans it started to take on the feel of a proper garage. The Sunday market was a constant source of trouble though - due to unrestricted parking the road often became gridlocked and nobody could get in or out. If you did 0600-1400 on a Sunday it could sometimes take an hour to get to the end of the road on your way home. While the nightclub was extremely noisy and still in full swing when you got to work at 0600 it didn't really cause much problem, apart from a murder one New Year's Eve which was reported by yours truly. What an excellent reminder of the early 90s! As you can see by my user name the 241 used to feature a lot in my life. I have lots of good memories of traveling to good school on the MRLs and the smaller MR (Not so good), Starriders and Renualt RBs that occasional strayed from the 276. When the DRL replacements came along it felt like a big upgrade and these lasted util the 241 moved to Upton park when the route gained double deckers after the X15 was withdrawn. I also used Titans until around 1991 and occasionally LS's also provided odd workings including Dockland Express / Clipper coach seat versions.

Latest fleet list: 89999 at AW as support vehicle from Switch Is that a temporary fleet code within Stagecoach? I know ELBG used to use fleet numbers that high up for non permanent members of the fleet so if I was to guess, Iād say Stagecoach do a similar thing

Are the new buses due at LI the same as the current on the 276? Yes, same type as the 276 (Volvo BZL's)

With the Enviro 400EVs coming to the SL3 soon, this will reduce the buses breaking down as those LTs keep breaking down with the Enviro 400, Enviro 400H and Enviro 400 MMC joining along with the LTs.

The long pole in the tent will probably be the installation and commissioning of charging kit at TB.
