Yeh it was better go give the 77A a new number then people think the '77' still went to Tooting when it would have now gone to Wandsworth. I'm glad it didn't become the 437 thou. 87 looks more like a central London route from Wandsworth. 87 was indeed a nice refreshing alternative, especially with its routing being somewhat similar with the 88 between Vauxhall and Trafalgar Square. Also tied in well with having a matching night number.

This is a risky one:
307: extended from Barnet Hospital to Edgware via Wellhouse Lane, Wood Street, via route 307 to Stirling Corner, Barnet Way, Apex Corner, Edgware Way and route 113 to Edgware. To provide a direct link between Edgware and Barnet.

If Night routes was to be extended out of thw london border like the N279 N20 extended to Potters Bar Station via 84 or N91 extended to Potters Bar Station via 298 N16 extended to Watford Junction via 142 or N18 extended to Watford Junction via 285
N65 extended to Leatherhead via the day 465 Now I know this may not happen due the county councils not supporting TFL Buses very well but it just Idear so what other nigth routes do you think can out side the london border

The only place that I think across the border thay would be considered for a night service would be Dartford with the 96 becoming 24h

Would an N81 from Slough to Southall (with a small diversion to serve Heathrow central) be worthwhile? Certainly see a fair bit of demand from people employed at the airport - once things go back to normal, whatever normal will be in the future !

In the late 90s there were plans to renumber the 77 to 272 while the 77A (now 87) is then renumbered 77...to match its then night element N77 (now N87). Thankfully that didn't happen, what with the confusion it would have caused. Wasn't there plans to also split the 77. The 272 was to run from Tooting to Vauxhall and then have the other part of the route from Clapham Junction to Waterloo.

Kind of but it was a new 447 from Tooting to Vauxhall and 377 from Clapham Junction to London Bridge.

Route H91 - rerouted from Hounslow West, via Bath Road to Heathrow Central, introducing a direct bus link from Heathrow along to A4 towards Osterley, Brentford, Chiswick and Hammersmith.

Hopefully after the virus the congestion maybe be less because people are working from Home and if the Congestion was lest then bus routes can be longer
