308 withdrawn between Stratford bus station and Clapton. To increase the reliability of the route 67 withdrawn between Stamford Hill and Dalston rerouted to Stratford via 253 and 308. To improve links from Stratford Perhaps another option might be for the 67 to replace part of the 276, which possibly needs some extra capacity but has several low bridges. The 67 could divert at Stoke Newington via the 276 to Hackney Wick, then continue direct via the 388 to terminate at Stratford City - offering a far more direct bus link from Stratford to the Hackney area. Then curtail the 276 to Hackney Wick, possibly continuing to Here East or Leyton Asda. However, with your original proposal, I agree with other comments that it would make more sense to merge the Wanstead end of the 308 with something like the D8.

Another way could be to just DD the 203. I agree with your 237 proposal. 116 would be a more attractive prospect though as it’s a lot more direct than the 203 is. Maybe the 203 could be cut to 2bph and double decked to avoid overbussing the Staines-Hounslow corridor Could even make the 116 the Staines - Hounslow route and the 203 the Ashford - Hounslow route.

New Route 338: Bow Church to Dalston Kingsland
I posted a new route idea a while back creating links in Tower Hamlets but have shifted my ideas to the other end of that proposed route.
Route: Bow Church, Bromley by Bow Tesco, Bromley by Bow Station, Devons Road, Locksley Estate, Limehouse, Jubilee Street, Whitechapel/Royal London Hospital, Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green Station, Globe Town, Bonner Street, Bonner Road/Old Chest Hospital (return Sewardstone Road), Cambridge Heath Station, Ash Grove, Broadway Market, Pownall Road, Regent Estate, Whiston Road, Haggerston Station, Kingsland Road, Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland (turn via Sandringham Road, St Mark’s Rise and Shacklewell Lane)
Medium length single deck, every 15 minutes daytimes and weekends, 12 minutes peaks, 20 minutes evenings
-New links between Devons Road and Bromley by Bow Tesco, Limehouse and Whitechapel -Bus service provided in Locksley Estate -Direct link between Limehouse and Whitechapel/Bethnal Green -Improved local access to Whitechapel for Elizabeth Line and Royal London Hospital -New links from Bonner Road area to Whitechapel, Cambridge Heath and Dalston -New round the corner links from Broadway Market/Regent Estate to Haggerston and Cambridge Heath Stations -New round the corner link from Regent Estate to Kingsland Road/High Street

Under no circumstances will the 276 be butchered! Too many passengers use it from Stoke Newington and Hackney Central all the way up to Canning Town. It's an important link for Newham residents so any revision to the 67 can't see the 276 hacked off before the main traffic objective of Hackney town centre.

Having another go. Chingford to Cockfoster, To give Chingford a northern link either than 313 and 444 However it does meet 444 again and the only unique sections are Meridian Way which doesn’t even have houses I think on the route and Bourne Hill and some others. Follow 313 Meridian Way Follow 34 Follow W6 Bourne Hill southgate Chase road Merrivale Follow 377 Bramley lane Westpole ave Cockfosters Follow 384 to the roundabout where it terminates. I think that Barnet merits a Chingford link. This can be done by rerouting the 307 away from Brimsdown and extended from Ponders End to Chingford via 313. This means that there are more buses linking Enfield and Chingford. The 377 would be extended to Brimsdown instead, covering some of the links albeit indirectly, with the 121 being a more direct replacement (no change to the 121) Also W8 extended to Cockfosters station via Hadley Road and 298 from there to Cockfosters, to link Cockfosters with chase farm hospital and to provide more cross borough links.

This will not do at all for Brimsdown, replacing a double deck service running every 10 minutes with a half-hourly singe decker. And you over-bus Enfield to Chingford. Just leave everything as it is, Barnet and Chingford has always been possible with a simple change in Enfield and now there is the added bonus of Hopper Fare so it costs no more than a direct bus would. A link from Cockfosters to Chase Farm has merit but the W8 is way too frequent for that - why not extend the 384?

The 313 already links Chingford and Enfield, why would it need a second route especially after the 313 got a double deck conversion. Sorry but this plus your post yesterday regarding the 308 suggests your not particularly clued up about the routes in question - I mean, replacing the double decker 307 that runs every 10 minutes at Brimsdown with a low frequency single decker 377 is an extremely poor move for those living at Brimsdown

As much as I agree for improving services to Chingford from the Enfield areas. Re routing the 307 will cause more problems than solving the case altogether, particularly breaking a well long established corridor linking Ponders End and Enfield Town directly with a every 10 minute peak service. Also I don't think Cockfosters needs another hospital service yet with the 384 already linking to Barnet Hospital directly forming a comprehensive network from the area. Though I had suggest a Chase Farm to Cockfosters/Oakwood service in the past, but the idea is more opportunistic rather than being strategic

Probably would be too long, but would it make sense to combine the 33 and 490 into one route from Hammersmith Bridge to Hatton Cross?
Then change the R70 to terminate at Pools on the Park, resplit the 110 and 391, increase the 190's frequency to 6bph and extend to Fulwell over the 33, divert the 423 between Hatton Cross and T5 via the 490 route and also extend the H25 to T5.

New DD route Finsbury Park to Stratford to give Stratford a northern link and to make links for Arsenal and Drayton Park.
St Thomas's Road, Arsenal, Drayton Park, Holloway Road, Highbury and Islington, Grosvenor Ave, Newington Green, Mildway Road, Shacklewell Lane, Rectory Lane, Downs Road, Cricketfield Road, Lower Clapton Road, Lea Bridge Road, Orient Way, Eastway, Waterden Road, Marshgate Lane, Sidings Street , Warton Road, High Street to Stratford. Extend D8 to Stratford International using Penny Brookes street for stand space for new route.
Divert 425 via Hackney Central and maybe make 106 use the 425 route then resume to its routing via turning at Victoria Park Road
Towards Finsbury Park it will go via Old Ford Road however just to make the 425 more useful I don't think this needed especially if those messes up 106 heavily.
I would like to hear your opinions and make better or give feedback or different alternatives to this.
