You got to be kidding me... If you think you're realistic in trying to implement these silly ideas claiming that people will prefer buses than trains then goodness knows what Maybe I should walk from A to B because I don't like taking trains even though it takes far longer to walk what are you doing? What do you mean

And yet some people will choose a bus over that's why routes like the 25 and 18 have remained busy. Some people would rather get stuck in the traffic rather than take the tube. What on earth? I've never met a person who likes getting stuck in traffic. Where are you getting this idea from? Regarding the 25 and 18 being busy well they are trunk routes and also link to places that are further from train stations And I have. I've met plenty of people would rather take the bus than the tube.

We might as well just delete this page because TfL doesn’t have a money. Then don't post an idea that is unrealistic in the realistic thread. Sorry but some of your ideas are a little bit fantasy Well this is a fantasy thread none of them are realistic.

I've met plenty of people would rather take the bus than the tube. I'd imagine you and the other people are in the minority. Think about why people are traveling on public transport. A major proportion is people commuting to work. Now it I was traveling to central London at 9am I wouldn't risk wasting time being stuck in traffic on a bus as opposed to a train where I know roughly how long it will take to get there. Bus journey times are much less predictable

It's like your baiting me. To be honest I don't agree with your opinions, I'm not really 'baiting you '. If you accepted that the majority of people would prefer a faster and more reliable journey by train rather than create a viewpoint that people should be over dependent on buses then you wouldn't be getting this response from me.

You don’t what’s going to happen. Their are things like tube strikes. If something happens with the Circle line then the other surface lines are affected. Problems like tube strikes are very rare and even stuff like signal failures don't happen every day. There is seriously no need to provide more services in central London. Travelling by tube despite the costs is a far more attractive way of getting around in central London. Even if you don't take the tube, Boris bikes are everywhere and a lot of places are within walking distance. To me taking a bus in central London is tte least attractive option Signal failures do happen every day I have had year worth of work experience at Tfl working in the offices and Hammersmith Station to know signal failures or something on the line to cause delays frequently happen more so on the surface lines because they are joined together. It's not attractive but people do travel to Central London on bus on a regular basis. Sometimes having a route or routes that parrel a tube is useful because if that tube line goes down then that bus route or routes can still get them to there destination or get them to another tube line.
