New route from Cricklewood Bus Garage to Camden Town or Euston Run via 16 316 to Kilburn High Road then via 31 to Camden Town or if go to Euston via N5 This to help the 31 and give new links Less then a year since the 16 was withdrawn in order to rationalise the Cricklewood to Kilburn corridor.

New route from Cricklewood Bus Garage to Camden Town or Euston Run via 16 316 to Kilburn High Road then via 31 to Camden Town or if go to Euston via N5 This to help the 31 and give new links The 189/C11 already cover some similar links to/from Cricklewood, but perhaps something like this could work if it instead heads west at Kilburn, somewhere via Willesden? Or maybe even take over part of the 206, since that can now take DDs? Then maybe the 31 could just be restructured as such, and amend the 328 corridor at the same time? The 328 could reroute at Notting Hill Gate to replace the 31 to White City, then extend the C3 up to Maida Hill? Decided to go insanely overboard & completely break TfL’s bank with my own set of changes around these routes. 31: Restructured to operate between Euston & Neasden Shopping Centre, via 1 to Camden Town, current route to intersection with Abbey Road, 189 to Kilburn, 98 to Willesden & 302 to Neasden. 228: Restructured to operate between East Acton & Swiss Cottage via current route to White City & current 31 to Swiss Cottage. Converted to double deck operation & frequency increased to match the 31’s frequency. 283: Extended to Central Middlesex Hospital, replacing the 228 on that section. 316: Reroute between Holland Park & Ladbroke Grove via current 228 routing. Also converted to double deck operation which I know is something that has been requested by many people. 295: Rerouted via current 316 routing via St Marks Grove & Barlby Road.

Via Hampstead Road or Eversholt Street? I was thinking that the 188 could be extended to Warren Street or Mornington Crescent via Hamsptead Road when the HS2 works are done. Giving a direct bus between Waterloo/Aldwych and Warren Street.

The 188 doesn’t need extending its long enough as it is. If the St Barthelomew’s-Holborn section of the 59 isn’t being well used I wouldn’t mind just sending that back to Euston or even Kings Cross.

To maintain links lost by the 72. 295: extended from Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s to Maida Hill via route 228. To maintain links lost by the 228. 316: extended from White City to Acton Vale via route 228. To maintain links lost by route 228. 430: withdrawn between Fulham Palace Road and South Kensington. Diverted to White City via route 220 to White City. To maintain links lost by the 72. 487: discontinued. N72: renumbered. N572: new number for the N72.

Not really my area, but this looks a little like rearranging deckchairs without there really being a lot of point to doing so. The 72 and 283 I suspect will be heading back south of the river if Hammersmith Bridge ever reopens. I like the idea of the 190 heading closer to Central London, but I’m not sure it would do a lot for its reliability.

Diverted to White City via route 220 to White City. To maintain links lost by the 72. 487: discontinued. N72: renumbered. N572: new number for the N72. There is a low bridge on Old Oak Common Lane that prevents DD’s from running there. Perhaps a revised set of these proposals could look like this: 72: Withdrawn between Hammersmith bus station & Hammersmith Bridge, extended to Fulham Sands End via 306. Converted to double deck operation. 228: Withdrawn 283: Extended to Hammersmith Bridge as proposed & also Central Middlesex Hospital from the East Acton end. 295: Extended to Maida Hill via 228. Also rerouted via current 316 through St Marks Road & Barlby Road. 306: Withdrawn. 316: Extended to Acton Vale via 228, also rerouted via 228’s routing at Ladbroke Grove & converted to double deck operation. 218: Converted to double deck operation & restructured to operate between Hammersmith & Wembley via current route to Acton High st, & current 440 to Wembley. 440: Withdrawn between North Acton & Wembley but rerouted back onto its old route via Twyford Ave & Noel Road. Eventually extended to Old Oak Common. 430: Kept unchanged 190 & 487: Converted to double deck operation.

It’s very possible the bridge may never reopen to vehicles & kept only to pedestrians & cyclists. If the bridge does reopen I think only the 72 would be extended as the 283 was cut back even before the bridge was closed. Regarding the 190 many people wanted to see the route be extended to South Kensington had the 74 withdrawal taken place.

Regarding the 190 many people wanted to see the route be extended to South Kensington had the 74 withdrawal taken place. Well the 283 was only cut back to Hammersmith temporarily because there was a plan in 2017 to temporarily close Hammersmith Bridge for a year in order to strengthen it to allow double decker buses to go over it also hence why the 72 was awarded with double deckers in 2016 and the 33 was rumoured to also gain double deckers but of course neither this end up happening because in 2019 the bridge was closed permanently and that plan strengthened the Hammersmith Bridge was either scrapped or put on hold well it was never been reported on so we don’t know what’s happening with the plan. And the 283 is permanently cut back to Hammersmith and the 72 still has single deckers.

110: Withdrawn between Richmond and Hounslow. 419: Extended from Richmond to Hounslow Bus Station via route 110 why? Presumably to make the 110 more reliable in it's current form but the knock on that change has is it heaps the pressure onto the 419 instead which has it's own issues with displaced Hammersmith Bridge traffic
