110: Withdrawn between Richmond and Hounslow. 419: Extended from Richmond to Hounslow Bus Station via route 110 why? You the original plan to extend the 110 to Hammersmith was to extend it via the 419 but with Hammersmith Bridge having its weight issues and being closed to traffic that didn’t happen and the 110 was extended via the 391. So I think if Hammersmith Bridge ever reopens I think TfL should go back to their original plan but extending the 419 to Hounslow instead and shortening the 110 because I believe in my eyes they should have never touched the 391 but of course they had no choice.

I think a compromise would have been to swap routeing with the 190 instead. So the 110 extended to Hammersmith but via Chiswick Bridge, and the 190 diverted via Gunnersbury/Kew to replace the 391.

Could the 110 become decked if it were to take the 190’s route instead? If not I would keep it as it is as the 190 does benefit from having deckers on it even though they are temporary.

Presumably to make the 110 more reliable in it's current form but the knock on that change has is it heaps the pressure onto the 419 instead which has it's own issues with displaced Hammersmith Bridge traffic Yeah I wouldn’t extend the 419 to Hounslow the route is already long & bizarre enough as it is. You could also have my previous set of proposals involving the 110/419.

110: Withdrawn between Richmond and Hounslow. 419: Extended from Richmond to Hounslow Bus Station via route 110 Very good idea once Hammersmith Bridge reopens and the 72 and 419 revert to their old routings over the bridge, but completely unviable at the moment.

Perhaps this could be done as something similar for now & the routes could be easily adjusted for when/if the bridge opens as listed below: 110: Withdrawn between Richmond & Hounslow 209: Withdrawn from Mortlake Bus Station. Increased to 4bph & extended to Hounslow via current 419 & 110 routings. 419: Withdrawn between Avondale Road & Richmond, diverted to Mortlake Bus Station. When bridge reopens the 72,209 & 419 would be extended back over it.

Minor Tottenham Bus Changes:
259: King’s Cross - Edmonton Green 279: Camden Town - Ponders End (extended to Camden Town but cut back to Ponders End to give a direct bus between Camden and Tottenham areas, also supporting 259’s capacity between Holloway and Manor House, and supporting 29’s and 253’s capacities between Camden and Manor House) 349: Stamford Hill - Waltham Cross (extended to Waltham Cross to replace 279’s withdrawn section between Ponders’s End and Waltham Cross)
Instead of TFL withdrawing 349 or extending 259 to Ponders End which they proposed to do in the Central Bus Consultation in 2022, they could just follow the changes above.

I don't think the 29 and the 253 need more help. Plus the extended 279 would mirror the Victoria line a little too much which TFL don't like

Camden Town is the northern line and King’s Cross is the Victoria line. Plus 29 is always very packed from Camden Town, it reminds me of the 18 bus so I think it actually needs more support. Same scenario with 259.
